Someone subtitle this for me, please!!!! I can't believe it's finally time....only 7 days left.... :-O I always truly appreciate it when someone does step in to help me out :-)
Oh dear lord!!!! I'm going to have to wait another week to watch this episode. I feel like I'm on the verge of a heart attack! This show is awesome. That's the same church Jane was at the end of The Great Red Dragon. I wonder if Red John followed him there.
Patrick kills him in the park. Tv guide said. Jane chasing RJ or another man through cemetry. RJ reveals himself? Jane shooting him at the church too? Or is he shooting a follower?
OMFG Jane is ready and I love that he gets to chase HIM. I am too pumped!
I think??? Bertramrj watches Jane at the cemetry him visiting his wife and child (throwback to the 4th finale love love). He can't help himself or stay away. Sends a note asking him to meet at the park. I don't know who he shoots at the church!! Sounds like RJ but how. Happy he is packing in church though lol I am cheering on for Patrick to give the mercy RJ gave his dozens of innocent victims 1 week to go!
Oh good idea..ah and Patrick injures him in church and finishes him at the park? He is prepared. Do you think he knew RJ would follow him? Rhetorical this is Jane!
It is not Bertram here is the guy that is being chased (Red John) crashing through the sliding door. http://o1311.hizliresim.com/1h/l/unkm2.jpg (looks like McAllister to me note he is wounded) This is a shot of the guy in the church (Red john) before Jane apparently pulls a gun and wounds him, sending him running away from Jane through the cemetery, then crashing through the window in the first shot above. Notice in the first pic he looks wounded because jane just shot him in the gut while they were in the church. http://imgur.com/UgcBoKl (again looks like McAllister's back to me) We know these are the same two guys.
I don't think she has a choice. She and team are on lockdown by FBI abd Grace will tell her what is up. If Grace is cool with Jane killing Bertram, she should be more than cool.
McAllister does not have so much hair. Why would a shot man fly through a glass door and hurt more? It's not the sheriff. .. sorry. Why is Bertram running and killing to escape?
A shot Red John running for his life from the one man most intent on taking his life would run through a brick wall if he though it would allow him to escape. Mark my words Bertram is a patsy. He knows it, thus why he is running scared too.
I refuse to believe there's no final surprise. Don't get me wrong, I believed since season 3 that Bertram was connected to RJ, but there's something a little too oafish about him. Partridge makes sense if part of RJ's end game was to destroy Tiger Tiger as a diversion. On the other hand, if he's dead then McAllister would make the most sense. It just strikes me if RJ brought a bomb to Jane's then the point was to escape. But planting it and running would make him known, faking his own death would be more artistic.
Patrick: You Knew this day was coming Patrick: I am going to meet him Red John: The games over and I won Patrick: The games not over Patrick: Now you want mercy
I'm not so sure Bertram is Red John. It's probably just to throw us off again. And when Red John speaks in the promo, it doesn't sound like him at all. Sure you can change your voice but since Jane and everybody else already know that he is Red John, I don't see the point in chaning the voice.
After seeing that photo posted further down on this page, I agree that it looks like McAllister. I'm not sure that it is, but if he's Red John he could've planted that bomb at Jane's house and faked his death. Red John is clever so I'm sure he would've pulled it off. But I don't know just a theory. I don't want to speculate to much 'cause the less I think about it, the more exciting it'll be next week :D
The "second vein" isn't a vein, it's a contracted tendon, you can easily do the same by contracting your pointing finger. And even if all mid-age men has veins in his hand, It's too much coincidence for these veins to exactly look alike, even if the position and ambient light are different, the vein shape do not change too much and we can see both have the same shape.
I think you're right. Jane said in The great red dragon: "I need to look them both in the eye", so i think that he's trying to make sure that is McAllister and not the other two (Reede eliminated), because on "Fire and Brimstone", he, in fact, looked to McAllister and knowed that he was lying. Probably Jane discovered all in "Fire and Brimstone" and just waiting for the right moment to "uncover" the identify of RJ, doing the same "effect" of all episodes.
Obs.: http://damnitjane.tumblr.com/image/62478809672 , MCAllister in center could be nothing or could be Heller saying...
So now there's no way that Bertram is RJ. No way that they announce Bertram is RJ and then in the next episode when they really reveal him that it's the same guy we thought in the previous episode. It means that RJ is one of the people we thought died in the house. This Leaves Hafner or McAllister. I think either would be fine, since they are the only two of the 7 suspects that actually make sense with the evidence of the past seasons.
Is the whoisredjohn site not working well for you either?...so slow there... So Im thinking that is McAllister, but just like the Reed promos last week, it's not what we think. Maybe McAllister isnt the only one alive from the house and theres another person out there (Stiles or Hafner) that is RJ. I never trust promo giveaways..they always mislead.
Bertram is def not RJ, episode 8 is all about revealing RJ. No way they reveal Bertram in ep 7 and then again have him be the big reveal in ep 8... It has to be Hafner or McAllister (Stiles is the only other possibility after that)
Yeah their server must be completely overloaded right now. I think it will be Mcallister due to the overwhelming evidence in the promo, but something is niggling me about that too. Why would the potentially spoil the twist in the promo? Plus as a secondary thought. I noticed that the Red john voice is similar but definitely different than the other Red John voice from throughout the series. I know that Simon Baker was the voice of Red John so far in the past episodes, but whoever (Xander Berkeley) is playing Red John, is mimicking Simon's voice making the Red John voice, and it is a noticeable bit off. In fact Red John sounds like Bob Dylan, or or Tom Petty in the promo! You would think they would have gotten Simon Baker to overdub his Red John voice for the episode, and promos right?
Agreed, definitely a different voice. All signs point to McAllister. The one huge thing working against it being him is the promo. I can't believe they'd let us guess it from the promo. Unless they think that McAllisters head being down was enough to throw off his identity. For this reason, I am not ruling out that another person survived the blast or even that the nutty Kirkland theories could play out... So my new order of most likely RJ goes like this: 1. McAllister 2. Hafner - unlikely. Should be dead 3. Kirkland - Unlikely. Twin thing is too cheesy 4. Stiles - only because his death was in the house and not fully vetted on the show other than DNA 5. Reed - Cant be him weve just seen too much now 6. Bertram - ep 7 completely eliminates him as RJ. RJ would kill PJ only if PJ is alert. 7. Partridge - Hes the only character we know for sure is dead as confirmed by both Lisbon and CHo.
McAllister: due to the promo footage, and I like it for the mere fact that his character has been around since the second ever episode.
Kirkland: I still smell twinanigans. I know it seems cheesy, but my logic here is; 1. Why would they use and actor the calibre or Kevin Corrigan for that relatively small roll? 2. Why would they even bring up a twin, when they could easily have said brother, lover, sister, mother, or any other close relation to tell his story? 3.Chekhov's Gun (or Twin in this case) Why bring up a twin if he won't ever make an appearance? (I am willing to assume that this is preplanning for another non Red John arc in the future of the show too though)
Partridge: I know that this is a farfetched point, but having not seen BP's dead face yet, i still wonder if there is some twist involving him before the reveal is complete. I want to not be one of the Partridge family, but the show won't let me let go yet.
Bertram: Even though he has been "named" as Red John, it could end up being a double twist, but I would be pissed. It could be that TM writers have given up and really do plan on having him be Red John, but like you i also tend to believe that he is a Red Herring.
Hafner: I think he is dead. But again who knows?
Stiles: An underwhelming death for such a big player, but Red John? No!
Reed: Not even! But I think I am safe to assume he was the Rebecca Poisoner in the season two episode (not the actor, but the character).
So as you see I still am slightly questioning the Red John reveal too.
Agreed, Betram is too much a goof. We never saw Patridges body, his voice matches perfectly, he would of faked his death and TIger,Tiger covered it all up. The only thing counting against him, is if you can believe he could be charismatic leader who can influence others. I have also thought it was Patridge ever since we heard Red Johns voice. But who knows mabye the writers have something else up there sleeve. Going to be interesting
Only issue I have with one of the suspects at Janes house being RJ, is that they never would of known where Jane would place everyone etc, so if they did plant the bomb how would they be sure they wouldnt get hurt, which is why I think it is Patridge. The producers always said RJ is someone on the list. They made it look like Patridge died but we never saw a body. even in the last episode Cho only looked at the arm and he didn't flip the body to look at the face.
Yes that's very true- Would be pretty cool if it turns out that it's him. And I've always thought there's something creepy about Patridge. So RJ is definitely someone on the list?? 'Cause it would be quite interesting if it turns out to be someone else. Like Jane's dad or something, that would be unexpected xD. Haha no but seriously I can't wait to find out :D :D :D
I'm not sure how they are going to do it but the voice of Red John is Partridge. It isn't deep, slightly nasal. Not Bertram, or McCallister or Hafner or Stiles. Not Kirkland.
That voice is Partridge...............close your eyes and listen (The Game is over and I won....)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeletewow they give us a bit of a clue who he is

ReplyDeleteNOT BERTRAM!
ReplyDeleteit CBS fault they didn't show as scheduled :( we should have known who he is today
ReplyDeletePatrick: You knew this day was coming. It's here.
ReplyDeleteVoiceover: The final showdown with the serial
killer Red John is here.
Patrick: (Sorry, but I can't hear what he say.)
Red John: The game's over and I won.
Patrick: Not a game.
Patrick: He says something about mercy,
but it goes so quick I can't hear properly.
Maybe someone else here heard what
Patrick said?
I had to listen 10 times. PATRICK SAYS NOW YOU WANT MERCY.
ReplyDeleteIt is Bertram. He knows to change his voice.
ReplyDeletePatrick kills him in the park. Tv guide said.

ReplyDeleteLisbon better get the hell out of Jane's way this episode, let him kill RJ. Peace Out!

You'll be eating your words in a week when it's NOT him ...

I second that!
ReplyDeletePatrick: You Knew this day was coming
ReplyDeletePatrick: I am going to meet him
Red John: The games over and I won
Patrick: The games not over
Patrick: Now you want mercy
Ok but most 50-60 yr olds have bigger veins. On their hand. Not a definite clue of same person. Idg the conspiracy.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I have been saying the whole season. And nobody believed me!!
ReplyDeleteIt would be way too boring if it was Bertram or McAllister in the end!
ReplyDeleteIn this scene (4x13) you can't see a vein popping out. So I don't think that reliable evidence!
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure Bertram is Red John. It's probably just to throw us off again. And when Red John speaks in the promo, it doesn't sound like him at all. I'm still thinking it's Partridge!!! They didn't show his face... I'm not buying it's Bertram, it's the obvious choice.
ReplyDeleteI think Cho would have said something!
ReplyDeleteThat's because this is an old picture and the real actor wasn't revealed until a couple of weeks ago. Even to the real actor who is the real RJ.

ReplyDeleteI think you're right.
