It was interesting to see that Sheldon got his way by teaching Leonard a lesson after Leonard finds an overdue DVD from seven years ago. The writers wrote this because of the reference of Blockbuster closing its remaining stores in the United States. The way they executed the story was really appealing to me. By teaching Leonard a lesson, he has to wear the itchy sweater that his aunt made him for college. The catch is that it is itchy and he can only wear the sweatshirt with no shirt under it! He has to wear it until the DVD is returned!!!! Leonard has to go in every of his power to return the DVD to the original store that was actually rented but the store that he calls turned to be closed for a long time. I loved how it seemed that the Leonard/Sheldon plot was going to be predictable until the writers brought a twist at the end with this plot, which leads me explain about the best part of the episode. The best part was where Sheldon actually paid for the late fees for the DVD and he wanted to teach Leonard a lesson, which aggravates him even more than ever. He waited seven years to get back at Leonard! Sheldon was awesome this week by schooling Leonard big time and outsmarting him.
Meanwhile, Amy notices Lucy and Penny thought she was always Indian, which Bernadette takes offense to as she calls it racist. Penny goes to confront Lucy about she did to Raj but she gets so scared that she wants another waitress. Penny wonders why she broke up with him through e-mail! That’s not the way to break up someone but Lucy was nervous to face him in-person. Therefore, it was easier to communicate as Lucy stated. It was funny to see that one second Penny was nice to Lucy and then the next second being mean to her! This upsets Raj even more but Lucy agrees to see him at coffee. Unfortunately, this doesn’t go much better as she admits that she is kind of seeing someone. This makes Raj sad but Penny gets one of her friends to go on a blind date with him. His bad luck returns as he goes berserk at her. Then, the girl gets mad at Penny, who gets mad at Raj, who gets mad at himself at the mirror! He needs to improve on his social skills to get a better girl. That girl that Penny set up with, he could’ve end up with her in the long-run. I’m really glad to see closure between Raj and Lucy as I’ve waited six months to see her again.
