I wasn't too thrilled about the last 2 episode promos, but I thought they did a good job with both episodes. Not sure if you agree, but the writing this season has been much better than seasons 6-8. I would give them the benefit of the doubt.
I do agree the writing as been very strong this season and i loved tonights even though i wasn't ken on watching it..Hopefully next week's surprises me again
This show was at its best when it was mainly dark, with just a touch of comedic relief mixen in, every now and then. Lately, the comedic relief seems to be talking over somewhat. I hope it doesn't stay that way...
I didn't like his SL or the whole Amelia thing, but there were more important parts that made the season enjoyable overall. I loved the way Dean was written. Hadn't seen him like that since S5.
I liked many of the eps from 8, but that first one, ruined the rest of the season for me, kept waiting for them to fix it and they did not. Not a season I will ever watch again.
That's how I feel about this season. Guess they can't please everyone. But I do hope it'll pick up and get better. Things seem pretty slow right now SL-wise, so maybe there will be better eps in the future.
You know what? I think Cas is better than this comedic material they keep giving him! He can't fill a slushie/slurpee cup?!?! Really?!?!? Why is Cas the ONLY angel who can't seem to understand human reactions and how to behave? If Metatron stripped any other angel's grace - Uriel, Zachariah, Zeke, Naomi, Balthazar, that kid Crowley tortured - I have a feeling they would know how to cope and behave, but Cas just seems clueless! Why? What's the point of that? The last few promos have been disappointing. Hopefully, this episode moves along Cas's story. We know angels are looking for him. What's the next part of the story?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
hmmm douno if this one will be my cup off tae as i aint ken on the angels but then i will remain postive
ReplyDeleteeww....Cas I guess it's a while until we reach the interesting episods
ReplyDeleteYay!! Castiel is my favorite character, so I'm really looking forward to this episode.

ReplyDeleteHappy to see Cas again. Hope the episode is good. So far this season had been really disappointing.
ReplyDeleteAll of the episodes are interesting if you enjoy myth and folklore.
ReplyDeleteSo even the episode with Cas was disappointing?
ReplyDeleteI liked some parts, but as a whole - unfortunately for me, it was. I really hope this season will pick up. S8 was amazing.

ReplyDeleteOH WOW, you thought season 8 was amazing?? It was OK with you that Sam's character was trashed?
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing Cas again.

ReplyDeleteYay Cas coming back :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think he cares. He calls Dean up to tell him about a case. Cas is fine w/Dean.
