For me the stars of this episode are Irving and Jenny. I liked most of this episode and the pace is still phenomenal, but Headless is Death is Abraham makes no sense to me.
It's a fabulous nod to the original story, where in Crane's rival for Katrina, BRAM (Crane in the show called Abraham Bram), was strongly hinted to have masqueraded as the headless horseman to scare Crane away.
It was cute seeing Abbie teach Ichabod what fist bumping is,but my vote went to the sword fight. Two are listed and i would have voted for both but.... so i went with the first.
Best scene was the sword fight replay but the standout of the episode was Andy. His love for Abbie and his want to protect trumps whatever nonsense the horseman is claiming to have for Katrina which seems more like wounded pride more than anything else. John Cho needs to be made a series regular.
I was initially going to vote for when Headless and Ichabod sword fighting/Ichabod realizing who Headless was, but then decided to go for Ichabod losing his cool and Abbie calling him on it. As much as I love this show for its cute Ichabod/Abbie moments and the sword fighting, this was a strong character moment for Icahbod. He's really good at keeping his cool and taking things in stride, but here Headless really managed to get under his skin. It was interesting to
I so badly wanted to vote for the fist bump! But i just had to vote for the reveal of Headless, and Ichabod sword fighting against him. I thought that was a great twist, and it got very exciting after that.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI had to chose other because I wanted to vote for all.

ReplyDeleteThe Two Sword fights
ReplyDeleteThe power plant scene, and the scene where the demons rush in and touch the Horsemen and Andy and whisk them away.
