    sorry, but before the episode started; I predicted she was alive. Happy she's alive and certainly thrilled for the next episode.

    It seems to be a TV rule: If there's no recoverable body, the person is most likely alive!

    Everyone knew she was alive, but no one expected them to reveal it this soon, I just assumed they would wait towards the season final... So, well done Scandal !

    I think Mama Pope is dying and her final wish is to see her daughter again.

    So, she's dying? But we just found out that she's alive!! Well, my thought is that MamaPope was the Dirty bomb, maybe with information about B6113, that could lead to an international conflict. That's why she was taken of the plane and had been in prison all this time. I would've never expected for her to be on prison. I think that's the beauty of this show, even with something that we expect to happen, like MamaPope being alive, or Fitz being the one to leak Olivia's name, or Rowan being Olivia's father(but I must admit I've never saw that coming), we never expect them to happen the way it has been. there's always something more to it.

    I think the plane was brought down exactly because she was there, I don't think it's a coincidence. But we shall see. This looks great!

    Let's see what we have so far. Mama Pope aka Omar Dresden has been detained in what looks like a prison for 20 years. Papa Pope has had contact with Mama Pope over the past 20 years. Liv does not know her mother is alive and Fitz does not know Papa Pope is Olivia's dad. Fitz has thrown his BFF under the bus because he has a price on his head, which is not the same as B613 trying to kill him. Quinn thinks she killed a security who was a key witness to who was taken off the plane. The guard is still alive and Quinn got a big welcome to wonderland from Charlie, the Artiste. Huck doesn't know about the Charlie Manson Baby Huck hookup. Jake is standing by his woman, Ms. Liv and Abby gave her a hug. Harrison has his own troubles. And we found out VP Sally's hubby is on the down low. Thank you James.Looking forward to the next episode.

    I'd be surprised if this was not the reason. It gives them a lot to play with. Olivia hates her father, she thinks he killed her mother, but in fact it was the other way around: her mother betrayed her country. And daddy is not such a bad person after all, trying to protect his daughter from the beginning.
