Rick and Morty, a 10-episode animated series from Community sick genius Dan Harmon, will premiere next Monday on Adult Swim. Unlike most (all ?) Adult Swim original series, each episode will be 22 minutes long and air in primetime (10:30pm).

You can already watch the pilot on Youtube :

Was it messy, sometimes too weird for its own good but enjoyable and filled with many funny lines, or was it something else? Tell us what you though of that introductory episode in the comments.

And while I'm on the subject of Adult Swim, here's another fun thing to watch : the latest installment of Adam Scott's The Greatest Event in Television History, renamed An Event in Television History (it's the third one ; a fourth and apparently final Event is coming up on January 23, 2014).

On October 12, 2012, the first Greatest Event walked us through the production of the shot-for-shot remake of the opening credits of Simon and Simon.

On June 6, 2013, the second Greatest Event delved into the (re)making of the opening sequence of Hart to Hart.

This time, on November 7, 2013, Adam Scott tackled Too Close for Comfort :

  1. Decent episode. Had it´s moments. But they need to retool Rick a little bit. His constant burpring and saying "Morty", was so annoying after twenty minutes. He needs a better catchphrase. Aside of that nothing to complain (only that the Act I cliffhanger wasn´t resumed at the beginning at Act II without expklanation).

  2. I actually thought it was really good, my kind of humor and I honestly didn't expect much. Will watch the next ep.
