Armed with the knowledge that Alison is alive, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have more questions now than ever before in an all-new episode of “Pretty Little Liars,” entitled “Who’s In The Box?,” airing Tuesday, January 7 (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT). Trying to put the pieces together Hanna comes up with the idea that if they find out who is really buried in Ali’s grave it may lead to much needed answers. But as the girls search, Emily has trouble dealing with how she feels about Alison being alive.
Meanwhile, Caleb returns to Rosewood, and Ezra has clandestine meetings with Mona and Aria.
“Ravenswood,” returns on Tuesday, January 7 (9:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT) with the new episode “Revival.” Fresh off his trip to Rosewood, Caleb struggles to deal with the aftermath of his brief time with Miranda on the other side. I love how they have ghosts on Pretty Little Liars like its normal to suddenly introduce supernatural elements into an already established work and book series. Boggles the mind how they thought this was a good idea.. Its like suddenly giving Christina from Grey's magical powers or Emily from Revenge being able to turn into a black cat.. Angel being a human on his Buffy spin off its so SO stupid. I have no problem with supernatural shows, but not a spin off from an established world.. a book world with like 7+ no less.
ReplyDeleteAdding insult to injury they are doing cross overs as well..
I thought "Twisted" was supposed to be after PLL?
ReplyDeleteTwisted will return on 11th Feb, after the remaining 5 episodes of Ravenswood have aired.
ReplyDeleteHo, I must've mistaken with another show then.
ReplyDeleteI mean, the promo that aired after Twisted mid-season finale said that Twisted would return in January... I'm confused lol.
Thanks anyway!
ABCFAM changed the return date for Twisted later.
ReplyDeleteAgree. I refuse to acknowledge Ravenswood as a show and its just a creepy town that they visited in PPL. it was a stupid idea and i agree just changes the 'world' the characters are in.
ReplyDeleteI hope this will be better than Halloween episode. That was just 2 hours of ravenswood.I am hoping this won't laregly be 2 hours about ravenswood with Caleb back In rosewood for PLL episode.
ReplyDelete"Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have more questions now than ever before" Just what the show needs, more questions added to their long list of unanswered questions. How about Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer finally have some answers :)
ReplyDelete"Ezra has clandestine meetings with Mona and Aria". Could be interesting
Ravenswood is actually really good. I was very pleased with the episode last night. And its really silly that people wont even Ravenswood a chance because Caleb was married to another girl in a past life. Mirandas dead now theres not going to be a romance.. not one thats gunna interfear with hanna and caleb. Its not. Plus its a good show people really should check it out.
ReplyDeleteI am not watching because it didn't intrest me and I was pissed the halloween episode was basiclly ravenswood guest starring the PLL.
ReplyDeleteCaleb and Hanna are going to break up since he Is on Ravenswood now.Shippers have too much power as it its.
If I told you every reason why I refuse to watch Ravenwood.. I would be writing all night... and I would probably be banned from the site for excessive swearing.
ReplyDeleteTotally. Marlene King must be an incredibly charming person to get ABC Fam to agree to a show like this. I know PLL has good enough numbers (no denying that) but the show is a mess in terms of writing etc. It feels like a group of very mediocre fanfiction writers were suddenly given two TV shows just for the lolz. Its incredibly poorly written.
ReplyDeleteHave you watched an episode? Or are you just assuming you wont like it. Its well written just like PLL. The acting isnt bad, its not great but i feel the leads hold their own just fine. And the story is very good.. its different. Last nights episode was great. Its a little different to follow, but its very entertaining. And creepy as hell.
ReplyDeleteWoo-hoo Ravenswood! It wasn't as great as I'd hoped but every episode was better than the last and I frickin loved the finale. I'm more interested in the mysteries of Ravenswood than who A is... That's saying a lot as I love PLL.
ReplyDeleteI used to love PLL, however, I have struggled this season to keep up/be interested. Hopefully the big reveal at end of last episode (not that we didn't all already know that) will kick the show into shape.
ReplyDeleteI watched the premiere, didn't enjoy it. I still tried to watch the next two episodes but was too bored & changed the channel - 3/4 through the second episode & then only got 1/2 through third episode before I decided to watch something else.
ReplyDeleteI didn't have preconceived opinions going in & was willing to give the show a chance but I found it extremely boring, so it's not a show I'll waste time watching.
Looking forward to PLL - although I agree with everyone else that the sudden supernatural element is completely nonsensical.
ReplyDeleteWhy is Ezra's meeting with Aria clandestine? Curious... :)
Really looking forward to Hanna's sleuthing & Emily's struggle re: Ali. Wonder how many episodes they'll wait to start Spencer's whole new storyline...
P.S. Will we every find out how/when Jake apparently got dumped? Is that a thing? Lol.
'its well written just like PLL' - and thats why I cannot have a conversation with you about Ravenswood.
ReplyDeleteI think and hope season 5 will the the last, since its already renewed I think it might be. PLL is just a gigantic mess, the thing with Shauna being the one meeting Jenna in the park kicked the bucket for me.. they couldnt have possibly known it was Shauna since Shauna was written in for the webisodes and nothing more - just that one example tells me they are making it up as they go along.
ReplyDeleteI have a passionate love/hate relationship and with King, because it frustrates me to no end how GOOD this show *used* to be in season 1/2 (when they were going off the books funnily enough) now they are making it up for the shock factor, leaving crater sized plot holes and unsatisfying answers and lousy character development in their wake. So yeah, I hope you're right about Ali being alive, its hopefully what will kick up this show... thats if they don't ruin Ali's character like they did most of the liars.
I would say season 2/3 was when i liked it the best. yes season 5 should be the last unless they can think of a way to 'reinvent' it. (follow something from the books where you think its over). Tho I hope Ali being alive does push the writers as they been holding that back since season 3. I don't made making up as they go along as lots shows do that... but they need to remember what they need to answer. especially how the body was identified as Ali back in season 1
ReplyDeleteShe wasn't written in for the web-episode, she was introduced in the webisodes and was suppose to have a major role in the second half of season 3. That was confirmed long before the webisodes were even released.
