    I was about 95% sure before the opening credits even began that I knew what my pick would be, and it was borne out. First scene, holmes finally opening up in a meeting. Gold!

    I absolutely agree with you two. The acting in that opening scene was impeccable! I think it's some of the best acting I've seen in this show so far. All those little tics he had while talking about his difficulties and how he wished to be born in a different time were so perfect! And the episode as a whole was superb. I really hope they keep Mycroft on as a recurring character because watching Jonny Lee Miller and Rhys Ifans act together is such a treat! They really show off the younger vs. older brother rivalry quite well.

    Actually I loved all of the above. But the opening scene where Sherlock opens his heart & shares literally made my cry.

    Pam, he is brilliant and why he hasn't gotten the recognition he so justly deserves before now is beyond me. I think for now, the adulation of his fans are enough for him.
