Pretty much the whole sequence from Ward fighting the bad guys with the staff pieces up to the point when May told Ward that she lives with what the staff showed her every day.
Ward and Simmons at the tree, and the last Couson scene. This show is full of great scenes, But I particularly like FitzSimmons. I guess after 2 so heavily FitzSimmons orientated episodes, this one had to be a little light on them.
All of them. Just, all of them. The entire episode was gold and I LOVED IT ALL!!! I'm really glad with the tone and direction that they're taking SHIELD in. The first few episodes were a bit campy but I had no problem with that so long as I accepted that what I was watching was supposed to be campy. But I'm really loving how the situations and characters are getting a bit more serious and we're delving more into backstory and seeing the characters in all these different compromising situations. It really makes for a deeper, more enjoyable watching experience.
May's a badass. Ward's a badass. Fitz's seriously cute. Simmons' as beautiful as ever. Everyone's very nice. But my fav scene would be when we finally got a glimpse of Ward's past. Still didn't understand though.

Ward's younger brother was thrown into the well and Ward was reluctant to help him because he was scared of his bigger brother. It was the first time he felt hate but it wasn't towards his bigger brother but rather to himself for being a coward and not throwing the rope in time.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I liked the scene where Skye approached Ward at the bar and said she'd be there for him.
ReplyDeleteFor action it was May and the staff, for a character moment I liked Ward helping Simmons climb the tree it was really nice.

ReplyDeleteThe bit with Canary and her staff of justice

ReplyDeleteThat was the next scene on my list! SO glad you picked it here!
ReplyDeleteWe've got to be ready for a May backstory now, right???
ReplyDeleteIt was a great fight scene! But the Ward/May character interaction and backstory - even the teases were all great!
ReplyDeleteBut didn't you adore Eliot hitting on Simmons!?! I almost included that as a scene!
ReplyDeletetotally. I quite possibly would have voted for that if it had been included,
ReplyDeletemost definitely she by far the most intriguing character
ReplyDeleteWe should know more about May next week....it her episode central

May mastering the staff. Also, her saying it was so easy because she sees the darkness everyday. All this teasing! Her backstory better be good.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Didn't know he was his bigger brother. Thought he was some random bully.
ReplyDeleteMay and Ward hooking up ! Yay ! I am so not a Sky\Ward fan... Go May\Ward !
ReplyDeleteMay mastering the staff, cuz I love me some Ming Na kicking ass.
