  1. I'm not usually a fan of Jackie's, but this won me over:

Rachel: “That was a long time ago. I was 25."
Jackie: "Yes. And you should have slept with the husband of someone with a shorter memory.”

So that's the scene I voted for!

  2. Usually Jackie is just a foil character but I think she had a fantastic layer of intrigue added into the mix last night. There's suddenly a whole other dimension to the term "the good wife" in that we know Alicia's not the first to be spurned by her husband in this family and all those times Jackie would...intervene are put in a whole new perspective. She had the best plot of the night, although I liked the tie-in to "scabbit" (reddit) and the continuing trend in seeing how people are dealing post- Lockheart/Gardner. (Will awkwardly failing to get "LG" to work, Diane noticing more and more that poor decisions are being made, Robyn continuing to be a sort of "Kalinda" in terms of making herself indispensible, etc.) ...I wouldn't say it was on par with the BEST episodes of season 5 but the show is still on course for its best season so far.

  3. Yes, I usually dislike Jackie but this time I understood her motivations. They should have kept Diane!

  4. I totally agree.

Also, Will is making more and more rash decisions.
And Damian is going to prove a problem, I'm afraid.
Kalinda was GREAT, I voted for her scene trying to

interview Damian, and he's finally a foe worthy of her.

  5. While it could be construed Judge Kruger was flirting, he'd know better than to ask the governor's wife on a date, so I think Judge Kluger has something to tell her. Remember the stuffed ballot box? Peter has NOT been confirmed yet...

  6. Well, Jackie never wins me over. And showing up at the husband's side, a man dying of cancer, I believe she would have hurt him just to get back at the wife if she needed to, to get her way. She is a selfish, spoilt, vindictive socialite. She does nothing but cause trouble for Alicia and everyone around her. I don't find her amusing. If she lived her marriage like that, I can see why her husband cheated on her, sad as that sounds to say. Honey wins a lot more friends than vinegar!

Diane, on the other hand, always views life with a sense of humor, and I love how she always approaches things with common sense and down-to-earth wisdom. I would love to see her get back into friendship with Alicia. I hope they find a way to bring that friendship back. She is one of my favorite characters.

  7. Yes, Diane is one of my favorites, too. Also, she is amazingly beautiful and classy! I look forward to seeing her outfits every week.

  8. Yeah, I don't think he's flirting, either. I think he will hire F, A & A.

  9. Kalinda interviewing Damian. I like the Irish mob lawyer and am intrigued by his secrecy.

  10. Agree with the others the Jackie scene was really good, I always like her and Eli going up against each other and usually I want him to win. But I really understood her motivations this time round.
