The diaper changing scene was funny and heartwarming, so it is my pick. As a close second I'd chose the scene in the dumpster, when Castle shares his vulnerability and fears very openly and Beckett deals with the idea of having kids very naturally. I had actually expected her to be a bit fidgety about the subject, but that showed her character development. Nice.
How can I choose, every scene was either sincere, sweet, funny or a combination of them. I loved when they were with the baby and when they discussed their future. I loved seeing Lanie in such a happy mood and also loved Alexis being back to her normal self. And who can forget the cuteness that is Ryan and Esposito and good old Martha. We had it all this episode!
I voted for the diaper changing scene but this week, I wish I could have voted for multiple scenes, particularly Alexis walking into the loft ("how long was I gone?") and the final scene with Beckett telling Castle "better put this on, Pilgrim!". Terri really outdid herself this episode, my hats off to her!
All the scenes were great. I have many faves but the loft scenes with Becket, Castle and the baby were my fave. Then the dumpster scene. The end was hilarious.
I really loved when Castle said "everyone want's to hold the baby." And Espo said, "I don't want to hold that baby." The delivery and expressions from both characters were hilarious. This is why Castle is so successful, great writing and the cast is good from bottom to top. A lot of shows the leads might be good but the rest of the actors backing them up are either not very good or just not interesting characters.
In the dumpster when Castle opened up to Beckett showing his vulnerable side, the look on her face just wow, who am I kidding all the scenes were amazing!! So I really can't say one or two!!!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
That surgery... I mean diaper change scene was phenomenal.

ReplyDeleteThe "How long have I been gone?" made me giggle. It is so refreshing to see our normal Alexis rather than the spoiled brat she has been this season...
ReplyDeleteI loved it all, the diaper change, the dumpster, and the outfit at the end.
