  1. It was great! God, I love this show so much.

LOL at Ichabod's reaction to Thomas Jefferson. I'm glad Irving's with them now. Loved his reaction when he saw Headless Horseman for the first time. Andy's really creepy.

And whoa at the end! Can't wait for what's next.

  2. Such an awesome episode, I was just telling yesterday how no episode was able to match the great quality of the pilot and they were all average since then.....here's the Sleepy Hollow I loved so much back in september! Welcome back!

The humour was, well, HILAROUS (the internet, the museum...LOL), the action was great, great pacing too. Just wondering what's gonna happen now, now that they have him trap. Will The Demon come back next episode to free him or do so huge stuff?

  3. Awesome episode!

I'm so happy Irving is helping them with the Horseman. The humor was brilliant. I died laughing when Crane was at the museum yelling at the tour guide for his inaccuracies about The Midnight Ride, him trying to operate a computer, and whether or not to look at the naughty woman on the computer XD

Also loved all the Headless Horseman action.

Next week is definitely going to be interesting now that they caught the Horseman. I can't wait!

  4. Out-freaking-standing episode! tense action and especially hilarious humor: from Ichabod's tirade at the museum to his disdain and difficulty of the internet and paying for bottled water, to the debate on Thomas Jefferson - just great writing. Nice to finally have the Captain fully on board, although I am a little disappointed as I was thinking that he was already in the know as part of a secret group like the Masons or something like that - or perhaps there is more and the writers just haven't shown it yet.. loved this ep! I am curious why rubberneck Andy is so intent on protecting Abby - a crush?

  5. I was glad to see the Ichabod humor return in this episode since it was sorely missed last episode!!

It's fun how every time the Horseman slices and dices some one's or something's head is cut off... The George Washing ton painting, the taxidermy bird, the crossing sign early in the season! XD

I loved Ichabod in the museum!
I have often wondered exactly how close our histories our to what actually happened.

At least Death is not gone for good, but I felt they captured him a bit too easily. He is one of the Fore Horsemen afterall. It felt a bit hollow to discover how to capture him and accomplish the capture all within one episode.

All in all one of the better episode's of the series I think. They show still struggles in the writing department to me though. It excels when being light and humorous, but the deeper plots seem to take a backseat to action. All these monumental tasks come and go within an episode and it feels too shallow, too easy, too contrived.

  6. I thought this episode was great. Better than the others, it felt like it was on another level altogether. More deep, you know? I enjoyed all the action and Irving finally believing Abbie and Ichabod about the horseman. Ugh, looks like Luke is gonna have a storyline. am i the only one who doesn't care for him?? Anyways, I liked when Ichabod accidentally went on that porn site, that was hilarious! And i also liked Abbie and Ichabod's talk about how they feel alone, and can never really have relationships, b/c they have to go through all this, and can't really share it with anyone, but they have each other, that was a nice honest moment. I loved how they used all the fake heads to throw Death off track to catch him. That was a nice move. Both of them as a team really work, and i love it. My 2 Favorite lines of the night..."The manuscript has been uploaded online.'" "That's fantastic" "You have no idea what i'm talking about do you?" "Not at all." lmao that made me laugh so hard. and the other line...Ichabod jumps down the tunnel running from the horseman.."Well that was terrifying" LOL...As for Andy, I really don't know whether to believe him or not. I mean idk if he's on the good side or the bad. And "I care about you Abbie." Where the hell did that come from? That was random...Sooo he has a crush on her? That's uncomfortable. I;m go glad they caught Death, next wk looks really fun, but again i ask how are they going to get answers out of him, with no head?? LOL I have to stay my favorite part of the episode was them trying to destroy the skull, in every way possible. Too funny.

  7. Really happy Irving is a believer now and from the looks of it isn't one of the bad guys like I feared. The Thomas Jefferson conversation was priceless as was Ichabod's reaction to bottled water.

  8. This one was filmed really nice for being a more action-orientated/horror episode, but the writers' need to spell out everything (more than once), really kind of took away from the episode IMO.

The promo from last week's was also misleading, as it terns out they didn't need Katrina or a Witch after all, but I suspect in time they will. Too bad the Masons had to get there heads chopped off so soon! I would have liked to have seen JF for at least another episode.

This episode definitely played more to the Abbie-Ichabod ship with Ichabod's "All we get to have is each other."

Also nice to see the return of Jon Cho's character. Wonder why he wants to protect Abbie all the sudden, or if it's just that he is at liberty to???

Some pretty funny 'Ichabod meets 21st Century' antics in this one too!
"As long as it doesn't involve the Internet"
"The way your generation has defiled the Earth"
and when he was saying something about wanting to summon Katrina, but not for the task relating to the Horseman!

  9. Great adrenaline rush of an episode, almost a action/horror flick. Though capturing the Horseman was way too easy, it felt a bit as if they were out of time and rushed the conclusion.

Also, was I the only one feeling they overdid the humor a bit this week?

  10. Ichabod in the museum was def one of the best scenes in the episode!XD

I agree that the "monumental" (good choice of word BTW) tasks they are set up to do almost every episode seem too easy and doesn't really resonate anything deep, but clearly, like you also said, catching the horseman isn't the same as killing him and I'm sure someone will free him and/or give him back his head at some point and maybe there is still an arc here?

I was pretty annoyed with telling the audience what was going on so many times. I know they're trying to help the random viewer understand, but I thought they really over did it in this one.

  11. They over-explain things so much!
Too many shows do that these days. It annoys me since it wastes time and is just unnecessary... Sigh.

  12. Good ep.

I thought Andy's 'crush' on Abby was pretty much set up from the pilot. Not sure why so many people are finding it surprising.

  13. Best episode since the pilot. Loved the humor, Ichabod getting used to our time will never get old (him handling the laptop was the most hilarious part), seeing John Cho back was also nice, though I wonder why he told Morales to stay away from Abbie, Irving is finally a believer and the Horseman is captured. Things moved along nicely and I can't wait to see what's next.

  14. Wow, they really must have done everything right in this episode. 134 votes in, and nothing below a single on in 'OK'!

  15. I know this may seem silly to some of you, but I love the fact that Abbie is a super curvy, super fine woman! As a big girl, I love seeing women who look like most of the women I know on TV. I am loving this show!
She reminds me of Scully from the X Files. You know, they almost didn't cast Gillian Anderson as Scully because they didn't think she was "hot enough". Can you imagine the X Files with a different Scully?

  16. I don't love this show as much as most people here do but this was my favorite episode so far. It was really great and had the perfect combination of humour, serialization and action I could ask for. Great stuff! Ichabod and Abby are hillarious together and I am glad the horseman has been captured!
