Not as fantastic as most of this season, but still good. It was nice to see Nolan with his own revengenda for once. And can I say, yet again, how hot his hair is this season? Dayum.
Minimal Charlotte = win.
Jack/Margaux is yawn-worthy (except for the part where Nick Wechsler's body is on display), but it looks like it might just get interesting now, as Margaux can be Jack's way of learning the truth. He clearly hasn't given up on the idea of going after the Graysons himself.
Jack visiting Amanda's grave was a short, sweet scene. I liked that it wasn't too heavy-handed and melodramatic.
I like Aiden, even though I'm still annoyed that the writers had him set Jack up due to stupid jealousy a few episodes ago, so I hope he's not going away until the execution of Ems' plan.
Another nice moment between Emily and Nolan in the end of the episode. I like. It's always appreciated when she shows some real affection towards Nolan, as opposed to her cold, snarky attitude in Season 1. He's a great and very loyal friend, he deserves to not be taken for granted.
Every episode can have a scene of Aiden coming out of the shower/pool for all I care. (Yeah, this whole comment isn't making me look shallow at all, huh?) And damn, Victoria just standing there. Not that I expect Aiden to be body-shy, but a little respect for personal space, woman!
The whole Sarah/Daniel plotline is just ugh. It unfolds very predictably and is not going to lead anywhere. It's basically filler material until the wedding, which we ALL KNOW is happening. I eyerolled when I heard Daniel saying, yet again, "I can't marry Emily" in next week's promo...
Anyway, Season 3 is still rocking. I hope Patrick comes back soon, his and Nolan's story feels like it was over before it even began.
I agree with everything you said! and about Aiden, he was showering with the door open (not that I complain...) and he knows she just walks in as if it was her own house
I liked it a lot. Yes, it was not as exceptional as last week's but far far from bad. They are having a lot of Victoria-Emily scenes this year and those are my favorites, so yay. I also liked Emily and Aiden and the takedown was nice old revenge season 1 style. I don't care for Margaux and Jack, but that's still miles better than Jack and the brothers surrounding the bar last year.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
it was good
ReplyDeleteGreat episode!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing Nolan having his own revenge for a change. That was awesome.
NOLAN FTW!!!!! ♥
ReplyDeleteLoving the plot lines this season, but the dialogue is just UGH.
