  1. It was great, but Jafar's backstory was okay (I just thought it was creepy that he came to the witch lady as a little boy and then later became her lover while learning from her :-P). I did NOT see that coming with his serpent staff; that was a great plot twist. But I'm not sure I understand exactly why Jafar wants Cyrus as his genie. Is he still seeking revenge against his father (if that story is true)? Also didn't expect the Red Queen and Will to be reunited so quickly (and now I ship Will/Anastasia. Red Knave, anyone? ;-) Alice finding out about who the Red Queen really was was fast to. , and I can't wait to see how they interact next week, especially now that Will's a statue of stone. I wonder how they will restore him. And I'm dying to know what made Anastasia go bad!!

  2. Jafar backstory was really good. more Agrabah. If jazmine ever get introduce we know her and Jafar are siblings. so i'm guessing the prisoner is either a genie, the sulant, or an aged Aladdin.
Any Losties recognized Amara the sorceress? I sure did.

  3. the only ep so far this season that I rated better than a good...gave it a great. I felt this ep had better flow and liked the backstory of Jafar. there were some iffy parts: the execution scene - why didn't Alice at least try to go in disguise as she knows that she is as much wanted as the Knave was, and it was a bit hokey that they would be able to pull off the escape when they were already noticed and supposedly "under watch"...., and even if that was just a stunt to find her weakness, why would Jafar just let her go? It would make more senese to keep her locked up and torture her/force her wishes by harming others even unknown innocents... she has shown compassion - probably better off to not think into it too much. I can't say that I'm sold on the show yet, but this ep added more eps to my sample size...

  4. I thought that this was the best episode yet. I loved learning about Jafar's background - it rounded him out more as a character. The witch was very interesting; I hope we see her again. Could the other person in the other cage be the sultan?

  5. I'm thinking that he is the sultan/Jafar's father as well

  6. Will better not stay a statue, he's the main reason I watch

  7. It was a great episode - I like the show more and more with every episode. I loved the Jaffar backstory and Robinson's performance (great "Lost" reunion by the way) was great. I also liked the plot progression - it was really dynamic and all unfolded very nicely.

  9. I thought this episode was pretty good except for the very transparent introduction of Lizard. I have no objections to the character (she's cute as a button) but I'm miffed about what she's obviously there to do down the line.

  10. Jafar's father is already imprisoned with Cyrus. i figured that out from the moment they showed Cyrus waking up in the cage.

Jafar wants to harass the powerful magic that his lover who is a staff lol explained that no one in history can harass it alone that it requires two ppl to do which he already has. Cyrus is the final piece meaning he can wish the Cyrus makes him immortal so he can harass the powerful magic without dying. which i gather happens if one is to harass it alone
