There is only one appropriate response to this. I'm going to send someone wearing a shirt that says "Feelings" on it to Shane's house and have that person kick him in the balls. About time someone did it to him for once.
That's exactly what I thought, at least when she was reassigned her and Deeks were in a good spot. It also helped me to accept the reassignment by Kensi breaking protocol and going after Deeks. At last, she decided to fight for "their thing" as much as Deeks has in the past.
They needed to pull Daniela out for a few episodes. And I think they did it pretty well. I really liked the interaction between Deeks and Thapa. Overall a quite good episode.
Well no surprise about her reassignment after all Daniella is pregnant so they have to make some kind of excuse for her not being able to shoot a couple of months.
Now, rewatching the episode Unwritten Rule, the motorbike issue sounds like a big foreshadowing of what happened in The Frozen Lake. Deeks was so happy with his bike, he even said: "I just got her and she is so beautiful", but then he had to give up the motorbike because of Hetty's decision. It's really interesting how similarly now the poor guy has to give up being together with Kensi, also because of Hetty's decision and probably again because it's just too dangerous for them to keep being partners.
I always seem to be in the minority with this show... I don't like Deeks and really don't like "DENSI". I do however think they need to crossover with NCIS a bit and a nitpick - in the last few eps Granger has referred to the new SecNav as he/him, but in NCIS, it's been a she (Leslie Hope) since 11x02.
Hetty has referred to the new SecNav as her a few times. I do wish they did across over with NCIS though. Yes you are in the minority, because I love Deeks and though I rarely ship anyone on any show, I do like Deeks and Kensi together. Their chemistry I could see right from the beginning.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
OMG ! soooo many DENSI feels !!!! what a sad ending ! at least it wasn't their own doing !! now we'll see what will happen in episode 18 !
ReplyDeleteSUCH a good episode!! I didn't see a preview for the next episode though, does that mean it's gonna be a few weeks?

ReplyDeleteI think you should send it to Dave Kalstein the writer of the episode.
ReplyDeleteHetty took our hearts and crushed them in little pieces
