It was a good episode, not great..I like Ellie and how she was introduced into the show,i don't think she will have a problem fitting in with the rest of the cast.
Had to laugh when Abby was writing her questions and answers to Ellie, her expressions while doing so was cute.
I'm really enjoying the show since Ziva departed. I find a lightness,an ease within the group now.It reminds me of the earlier years with a more mature Tony....Hope it stays this way now that Ellie is here.
I agree I think now that they don't have keep working in possible Tiva moments, the episodes are just about everyone working and learning about each other. Tony still has his silly moments, but he isn't as focused on Ziva anymore.
I like Ellie. Although, her name gave me major Fringe memories (similar enough). Her intro, and backstory, was cohesive to the episode, and to the team. Also, the actress has a fresh face and personality, that's a nice breath of fresh air. I'm liking the new, lighter direction of the show's storytelling lately. Looking forward to seeing her future interactions with the team!
I liked the Kate mention too. It's almost poetic, to mention a past team member, to a new team member. Almost like passing the baton, or a nice remembrance act. Nice, classy touch imo.
Best episode of NCIS since Sasha Alexander played Kate! I LOVE this new character she is awesome and the show seems like it's getting back to it's roots. It feels almost like a reboot to when the the show was at it's best which was the first three seasons IMO. I am very, very happy and excited about shows future and about new "probie" Ellie Bishop, what a great new addition to cast.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
