I loved it. Best part was the Guard tattoo on Audrey's/Jennifer's book! And as much as I liked the guest stars, it felt like they had the bigger part of the episode. I want more Nathan and Audrey.
oh boi how do they think of these things like wow. Perfection. I loved how the episode was filmed sometimes using the camera man's angle it was cool. I actually liked the seekers and their banter it was very refreshing.
I knew I loike Jennifer but now I like her even more that she can William away so if she is sorta Howard's child did he send her to Seattle to keep her safe or something. I need some answers.
Was glad we got very little William in this episode and gosh it seems like this season has just started and it's already season finale season for this show. And knowing Haven's season finales it's gonna be a heartwrenching cliffe. Would love for Audrey and Nathan's son to make an appearance
I enjoyed this and like how they are weaving Jennifer more into the central arc of the show. Bit worried about the promo for next ep though - I don't want Audrey to go bad, not even for a second. I want the bad to be bad so we can focus on kicking William's butt.
this was so not a story for a single episode they should have introduced these guys slowly over a bunch of episodes wrapping it up so easily and so soon felt totally off
I thought I was going to hate this episode but I actually loved it. Great episode so glad the monster turned out to be linked to william and not a random troubled person. I think Jennifer is the way to stop william without hurting Audrey.
Yea. I was waiting for a scene at the end of the episode where they'd say something that would reveal their real agenda. it would hope to see them again, it would make sense, I think. :)
I just cannot digest this whole William-Audrey connection (love?). I keep thinking that he was obsessed with her and somehow trapped her into the Barn to keep her forever or something, has been trying to convince her since that she loved him. But no matter how many times she loses her memories, she will never love him. Okay too cheesy. :-P But still, two versions of her loved Nathan, we've been watching their connection for 4 seasons now, this evil guy William just cannot fit to the equation!! Interesting they mentioned 1983, just when I was getting to wonder what happened to the Colorado Kid, we haven't heard of him in a long time. Or is this case closed? And no clue on the Teagues' trouble yet!
Only 2 episodes left for this season. Already over, ugh!
Is it getting renewed, do we have any information?
I thought I wasn't going to like this episode, but it ended up being a great way to move the story forward. Here are some thoughts I had from watching this episode:
- Great to see more Nathan and Duke bromance stuff. - Powerful and wonderfully done scene between Audrey and Vince. It was written well, very well acted, and gave us more depth for both characters. - Intriguing development in the continuation of Audrey's story, especially regarding her connection with William. - Great way to reveal a little more Jennifer's backstory, by showing rather than just having somebody telling us. That "positive energy vs. negative energy" stuff, between Jennifer and the creature, was cool and done well, despite the handheld camera plot device. - These riddles/prophecies are such a great and engaging way to give clues for the next part of the story! I'm already thinking of what it could mean. - The only thing I didn't like about this episode was that I mostly hated those ghost chasers guys. I thought they were pricks (actually, a worse word). But, they did redeem themselves in the last few minutes of the show. - Also, this ME is way more engaging, and has me more interested and entertained, than the last one, at the crime scenes, and morgue/autopsy reporting scenes.
This episode still felt like a Haven episode, which was mostly why I was still entertained by much of it. Thankfully for me, the "ghost chasers-handheld camera" stuff wasn't in too much of the episode. I loved how the main "Haven's Troubles" story was unfolding with meaningful steps forward, and not just with some tidbits of story. This season's pacing has been excellent. I wish all shows I watch moves plot forward and has such momentum as Haven does. I am so excited about this season's final episodes!
I don't like hand held camera things and these guys reminded me to much of the Ghostfacers from Supernatural(which I can not stand). So all in all did not care for this ep. First ep I have not listed as awesome, it was just OK to me.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
It started off a little slow, but it got way better. Whoa at William healing himself (and thus Audrey).
ReplyDeleteLoved all the Duke and Nathan moments this episode. I loved how they were trying to calm each other down.
Aw at Duke being so worried about Jennifer. He's definitely in love with her already and overprotective and alsdkjfalksdjf.
Wow at the Jennifer sort of reveal. So the book does mean something and she can send William through the door. But will Audrey have to go with him?
The episode got a little terrifying in parts tbh, but I liked it.
And while I love Thanksgiving and turkey, damn you for making me wait two weeks for a lot of shows! Why.

But but they renewed Haven very early last year, I was hoping the same would happen this year as well. Ah well..~
