    the writers need to get better technical sources when they go out into the world of fire fighting railroad incidents .. the tank car that was 'leaking' contained propane ... propane is a compressed gas transported in DOT112 or DOT114 pressure tank cars ... that 'prop' they showed on fire was a very old (and no longer in service) DOT103 non pressure tank car with an expansion dome and a manway .. an expansion dome with a whole lot of extra valves that had been attached that were not on the original tank car ... one of those valves was shown leaking, my guess is to represent a pressure relief valve ( PRV) ...while there was a PRV on the old DOT103's, it looked nothing like the one they showed leaking ... second biggest fubar, hooking an 1 1/2 inch fire hose to an elbow valve, my guess that was supposed to be a vapor line ... the DOT103 actually had a vapor line, but looked nothing like the one shown ... the big oops is fire hose thread is not the same as standard pipe threat, so there is no way they hooked a fire hose to a vapor line pipe thread .. lastly ... even if they used the fire hose to redirect the vapors from the tank car to another location. once they lit the vapors on fire at the other end, the heat from the fire would have melted the hose line there are proper ways to vent a tank car, a fire hose isn't one of them ... so when you jump into a specialty situation where you have no clue, get help with it before you write it, then film it all wrong ... just a few thoughts from watching tonight's episode

    Phhhhewy! That was one intense episode! I'm going to miss Ben and Griffin. I really enjoyed Casey's interaction with them. I hope the Casey/Dawson stuff steps up soon, and that Shay drops that girl Devon quick. She creeps me out.
