What is the writers issue with not having any good scenes with kate/alexis??! Come on! We get one here and its no words and hug from a distance COME ON! The actresses can do it, give them a chance!

  5. Loved it! Great to see the depth of Alexis' brilliance! She's got Castle's imagination and Beckett's determination, I could see a future lawyer in her! Also loved that her and her father are back on good terms, the apologies from both parties was well-timed and not overdone.

Only thing I have to say is, I'd really hoped the Kate/Alexis scene could've been longer and had some audible dialogue...

  6. Great episode with multiple twists.
Loved the ending with Alexis hugging a Beckett.

  10. nice episode but I dont like alexis nor molly quinn. the final scene was cute plus the discussion about getting married in space. the case was predictable.
maybe alexis will go the way kate wanted to go before her mom was killed which would bring them a little further together, in my opinion. i think its sad that we didnt get the dialogue between alexis and kate ....

  11. Really strong episode. I loved the plot, with all it's twists and turns, and the ending -- especially the courtroom scene, and then the look on Castle's face when he's watching 'his girls'-- was beautiful. I only wish Alexis's apology had been a little more emphatic and substantive, instead of that blink-and-you'll-miss-it "sorry I was mad" that we got. And I do wish that Castle hadn't (yet again) rushed to take all blame to himself. ("I deserved it"? What? No you didn't, Castle!) But for now I'll take what I can get.
Here's hoping this episode paves the way for some really quality Alexis and Beckett scenes in our near future!

  12. Loved the episode! Despite all that has been going on this season, the father-daughter chemistry between Castle & Alexis is as strong as ever. I think their rate of progress has been perfect..not too quick but neither is the distance between them astronomical anymore. Kind of both awesome & disgusting when Castle & Alexis came to the same conclusion & blurted it out at the same time..Awesome cause it showed them both that they are peas of the same pod..Disgusting cause it’s what Castle & Kate have been doing since S1..loved Alexis’ disgusted expression when she realized its her father’s method of having ‘verbal sex’ with Kate! Hats off to AM for this satisfying turnaround…pretty sure he pleased a lot of the disgruntled Castle fans out there.
P.S. Dying to hear what Alexis & Kate were upto!

  13. Not my favorite episode...I knew who it was as soon as I saw him. I was, however, happy to see that the old Alexis was back by the end of the show! Hope she stays! I do like how Beckett went that extra mile to help Alexis and Castle and the hug, although I wish we could of heard what was said, at the end.

  14. I enjoyed the episode a lot! I loved the case, and I didn´t care who the killer was, I was more focused on how it would be solved. Loved how great Castle/Alexis worked together, like old days:)
About the ending scene, for me it worked perfectly the way it was done; it was obvious Alexis was thanking and apologising and the hug was beautiful!

  16. I enjoyed Alexis time with her dad, I sure hope it's the beginning of healing, frankly I'm tired of little miss attitude, I know everybody has to grow up but enough of the insanity already!!

  17. The best episode so far for this season

  18. Good episode. Loved seeing Castle work side by side with Alexis and Im glad to see the healing begin. Loved the Lanie/Beckett scene. Lanie knows how much Rick and Kate love each other and Im glad she advised Kate on what to do to fit in. I am happy that Alexis thanked Beckett and gave her a hug. Its time to move on to better things :-)

  20. It did seem a little abrupt or a little badly edited. I am willing to bet they shot a scene with them but had to cut it because the episode ran too long. If that's what happened, we may get the scene on the DVD.

I like Castle, but this episode sort of faltered after the first few minutes. I did like the line about Beckett telling Castle that they are not going to get married in space. But that was pretty much it. I like Alex and Castle in general, but I don't think we really needed the episode.

I agree, this bothers me. We need to have a scene with them bonding. I think the last time we had something was off scene a few seasons ago.

I agree, I saw who the killer was halfway in... I don't if that's bad writing or something else.
