    As always the writers did a terrific job none stop action, and suspense, the actors nailed it as ever, and of course the oh so sweet Vincat moments, I like that Cat is not trying to give up on Vincent, it's gonna be great to see Tori go through her thing, great episode not ever disappointed!!!

    Awesome episode. Face paced, some VinCat moments and no worries about Tori being a love interest. She is going to increase Vincent's beastly side and Cat will have to battle for his humanity, this will be EPIC.

    it's going to be a bumpy ride, Tori's arc will be interesting in the next few weeks. Many shocking moments in this episode definitely worth a re-watch. Great job by all..writers, actors, etc :D

    This one was very good! But I would prefer that JT do the thing that Gabe try to do with the father of Tori! I missed JT and I keep hoping that Gabe go away because I just don't like him...

    I liked this episode much better than the last one, especially the beginning... hahaha what a gorgeous man!!, anyway... I need to know what Vincent's deal is, I just don't get it, I mean, doesn't he enjoy being a beast??, I thought that was part of the brainwash!!, that makes me wonder now if he's not actually a volunteer... well... no that would ruin it all, anyway a very good episode, the only thing I don't like that much is how they're making think that Gabe is actually falling in love with Cat, for a second I thought it would be Tess who would be Gabe's new love interest, I think that would be way more interesting and fun to see.

    LOVE the ABSolutely gorgeous beginning of this ep and the beautiful VinCat moments ♥ MUCH better than last week's episode altho not my fave thanks to annoying Tess Gabe and Tori hm... not a love interest but I smell trouble! Can't wait for VinCat to find out Big Bad Bio Dad is Beastmaster!

    I hate to say this, but I have officially lost interest in this show now. There was nothing wrong as such with the episode per se but I've been noticing how this show is becoming more and more of an action thriller and moving away from the romantic element that defines Beauty and the Beast. I signed up for an action show when I started watching Arrow (which is far superior any day in terms of action sequences, sorry to say) but with this one, I was looking for some epic romance between two soulmates. VinCat is what works for this show and nothing else, frankly speaking. The script is loose and the plotlines are rushed and all over the place. Yet I kept coming back because of how flawlessly VinCat relationship was portrayed. I'm not asking the writers to let them have it easy and the world should be a bed of roses. The first three episodes of this season had VinCat go through the toughest phase in their relationship where they couldn't even trust each other fully, yet the intense attraction and sexual tension between them was so palpable that it broke my heart. But Hothead onwards it's taken a U-turn. It's like the soul of the show is missing. It's great that Vincent has cool new missions and Cat is discovering about her past but as much as the two characters need to explore themselves separately, the show is at the end of the day a tragic romantic tale of BOTH of them TOGETHER. Beauty AND the Beast. Someone let me know when the writers realise that and only then shall I come back to this show. I can't sit and watch a show that doesn't deliver what it promised.

    The cast did tell us that fans will feel like screaming at their T.V sets this season. And they're absolutely right! I think this episode is a game changer and is the lead up to what is coming ahead.

    I agree, I thought they would play it out to look like Gabe was falling for Cat but in actuality be interested in Tess. I think that would be far more interesting and a relationship I could get behind.

    From spoilers and interviews I've watched I think things start to come around in ep 8. (although it will more than likely end on a cliffhanger) At that point it will start being more about Cat and the missions, to my understanding, will be done. They said the old gang will be coming back together and the romance will pick up. I think Tori will be the start of VinCat fighting for each other personally. Because they do want to be together and Tori is obviously pulling at the beast in V. I could very well be wrong, but I think them fighting for his humanity will be epic. It might be a back and forth struggle for a bit, but I think it will always be them trying to be and stay together. Just be patient. I truly believe it will come back around.

    LOVED the opening scene. Why can't they all start like that?! Only, a little closer up and more light. Just sayin’.

    Much better than last week! I swear my mouth was hanging open when V ripped that guys heart out. And the look on his face was heartbreaking. He looked as shocked as everyone else, then when he was talking to Cat and he told her how she looked scared of him! I felt so bad for him. Tess is really getting on my nerves. Stop pushing Gabe towards Cat! I know you want whats best for Cat and you THINK she’d be better off without V but, that’s YOUR opinion. Yeah V is complicated, but the heart wants what it wants. And Cat’s wants V. Be a friend and support her. I’m MORE than ready to get JT back!! I’m also still on the fence about dear old dad. I think he could go either way, be super bad or end up as part of the team.

    I get how and why some fans are frustrated with the lack of romance. I am too kinda. It’s primarily why I watch and love the show. But I get that the show can’t spend 22 episodes of VinCat in bed (even though I truly think I would have no problem watching that…) so they are trying to attract more than just the romantics right now with the action. Which, lets face it, we really do need more viewers. I think we need to just be patient. The romance will come back. Don’t give up.

    Yes, but the problem is, they obviously DON'T manage to attract new viewers... they are loosing their old ones instead. Ratings are going down steadily :-(
    As Neethi said, there are so many big budget shows on TV doing action better than BATB

    Great episode. loved the Vincat scenes we need these back together sorting out their crazy world of beasts,obastacles ans evil bio dads,Did not like Bio Dad's manipulation of Catherine the girl is vunerable and will be naive to anything he says/does.Please wake up soon Cat.The guest beast was HUGE!! I liked him great baddie!! Tori is really good and will be a test to Vincent NOT in anyway romantic guys dint worry,Gabe n Tess Blah Blah same old Gabe shipping nonsense really hope the writers respect us enough to make sure Cat tells him to get lost!!
    Only one issue why is JT so under used he should be with Vincent sorting their friendship.this is just as important as Vincat and its just not being addressed properly come on writers give JT more time and less of bloody Gabe!!!! 9/10 Bring on next week #BatB
    ps will Vincent ever comeback from tearing out the heart!! hmmm

    Good episode , not a great one but still good. Anyway :
    - VinCat : Houston we got a problem ! where's chemistry ? Missing in action ? Lost in S1 ? They act like an old married couple who's relationship has sunk into friendship , sort of affection without any sexual tension . No angst , no push & pull . Forget about romance . Actually they are not falling in love , they are falling OUT of love . Headed for divorce.
    - Tess : All I have to say is "Bring back Heather and send her to Miami " One-way ticket. Thank you .
    - JT : No JT , no humour, no party. Biggest S2 disappointment.
    - Gabe : Miss S1 bad Gabe. New Gabe is sleep-inducing zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz .
    - Tori : Bad actress (!) but interesting character. She will bring new dynamics and life into Vincat boring relationship or whatever it is.
    - Bio Dad : Best actor . I like him. He's a sexy daddy. Sorry Vincent.
    - Vincent : I will be a minority but I'm getting annoyed by Vincent one jacket uniform . Give the poor guy some new outfits and NO Pockets . Jay put your hands out and use them for more chair-dragging instead of heart-ripping. Just saying.
    - Catherine : Don't touch me I'm sweaty ! Seriously ? You are a total wreck or you need a pair of glasses. And please give the poor beautiful Kristin a new hairstyle . She looks like a desperate housewife.
    Well, Not sure I'm still watching Beauty and the Beast . Maybe it is time to give this show a new title......

    The day romance is described as a couple in bed will be the saddest day for me. When we say we miss the romance, we're not just missing VinCat sex but their intense and complicated feelings which was so palpable even when they were in different frames.
    You're right, BatB needs more viewers, more than ever now that the "romantics" are moving away from it. Can't blame them for feeling cheated now, can we? :(

    In S1 they were great in selling the hell out of weak storyline and writing. So maybe it is time to point fingers on actors if VinCat chemistry is missing because , let's face it , S2 writing is generally better. Sorry .

    In S1 they didn't need to talk too much. The way they looked at each other was much more emotional and seducing than any great line . It was always a WOW moment. I can't see that .I can't feel it.

    This means they're doing a hell of a job, acting wise. Vincent is not the same. Yes, something is missing...Vincent is missing. And Cat, after being grabbed by the neck and pushed to the ground, stepped back a little. As he gradually remembers, the chemistry will return. No one can deny, the "little smile" he had on his face when he woke up from the "memories" dream, did not cause a spark of electricity.

    People, the romance will come back. But you have to remember that Vincent barely knows Cat at this point. I really liked this episode but definitely missed JT. I was wondering if they've been leaving JT out like he's upset that Vincent doesn't remember him and is pulling away in a sense?

    I didn’t mean I think romance only happens between the sheets! I too loved the looks and the rooftop dinners/kisses/ “I love you’s” AND the fire escape/coming to the window (probably my favourite), the heartfelt confessions etc. I only generalized to avoid typing all that, and I didn’t think anyone would take me so literal!! :) What I meant was we can’t have a season of a happily in love couple. That would go against all the TV laws….like, EVER! ;) Not that I wouldn’t love that, because I think I would love that. But TV shows have patterns, bring a couple together, break them up, bring them together, break them up AND repeat. Fortunately BATB has in a way strayed from that pattern a little by bringing them together so beautifully already and while they are not together in the way most of us want, they are still in a way together. We know they are still wanting to work back to what they were, but the relationship as a whole has taken a BIG step back. I too want some of the S1 spark back and I think it will come. V is still very clearly struggling to even HAVE emotions, being romantic to Cat seems a little out of character for him right now. I think once his humanity and his memories come back more, that’s when the romance will come back. Look how long it took for him to come to her window. It took forever (or so it feels) but he’s doing it again, just as he will do all those other things we loved. Why? Because that’s who is truly is. Like he told Bob, “he feels like two different people”, well, that’s because he is. When he told Tori that he had someone special, I got the impression from the look on his face that his confession surprised himself a little. Like saying it out loud really let it sink in and he didn’t know what or how to feel about it. As far as V is concerned, at this point I don’t think he loves Cat, drawn to her, yes. Not because he doesn’t want to, but because the programmed soldier doesn’t have those emotions….. “makes for a better soldier”. So until he CAN love her, I don’t see how he can show her (and us) he does. And although Cat still loves him, she is right to hold back. He looks the same, sounds the same but is still very different. I’d bet we won’t see romance until after the winter break. And I think it will come after a major turning point, e.g. ripping a beast’s heart out, only we haven’t seen it yet IMO.

    Beauty and the Beast is and always will be the best show to come along in the past few years. Season 2 has amped up the action and I really like getting to know the back story on these main characters. Father Knows Best added a new element to the evolution of the Beasts and what all that may entail. #BatB is simply the BEST show!

    I feel the same way! Something is just terribly off for me. The ideas are good
    but the execution feels awfully rushed and convoluted at times. Many
    crucial points get quickly brushed aside and resolved while others have
    become so redundant to the point of becoming annoying- Tess & Gabe
    seem to repeat the sane thing OVER and OVER...enough already!!! . I am
    not even sure where 'VinCat' stand at the moment. Are they together? Are
    they not together? Its this weird and awkward 'they are' but 'not
    really' thing going on between them. I would have preferred to see them
    apart while they reconnect and fall in love with each other again (build
    the sexual tension) instead of them having a half-hearted attempt of a
    relationship that is leaving me feeling *gasp* cold. I am not feeling any emotional connection whatsoever. And where is the Humor for god sakes? Where is J.T.?
    How can you sideline one of the most popular things about the show
    (besides 'VinCat's romance)! I'm just not feeling it right now.

    Seriously? I've heard & seen the opposite. The whole nephew thing in Hothead? I actually really enjoyed the episode despite not getting how Aaron wouldn't recognize his own uncle, there was never a picture from any relative? His age was definitely in question. The whole rewriting Vincent's past. Catherine's mom/bio dad relationship and the time table of being in love and hooking up with her dad. Doesn't make any sense. Mama Chandler must have rebounded pretty fast from Reynolds. These are just a few things off the top of my head, I know there are more. They seemed to have some chemistry in the first 2 episodes when Vincent didn't remember her. Now I don't know what's going on.

    The action scenes have gotten better this season, but that seems like that's all they're worried about is to make it an action show to draw male viewers while they're forgetting who their actual audience is! Mostly female and yes driving away! The fans who fought to get them a second season. I understand there needs to be some changes in every show, but not to the point where it becomes so unrecognizable! They have literally sucked the heart, soul, romance, passion, chemistry and magic out of the show which is what made us fall in love with it in the first place! Some of the loyal viewers are hanging by a thread!

    And I know some people are struggling with the murky nature of Vincat,
    but that was the intent according to NYCC interviews with JR and KK and
    it makes sense to me because they are struggling to be together when
    most normal couples would have stopped trying already, but the
    connection and love is there/so strong so they fight it sometimes and
    don't other times. It is hard to watch just because I love Vincat so
    much and it is frustrating. but that is the point. How do you stop
    loving someone or rushing to help them or support them? They are
    conflicted because the are facing so many conflicts and none of them
    brought on by themselves so it sucks. And how could they be totally
    together, Vincent isn't even himself so of course they are wishy washy!
    It's realistic to me, but I blame Daddy Reynolds for their probs. Plus,
    if they do intend to break them up...the only way they could do it was
    to torture fans into actually conceding that a break up for a short
    while would be okay...otherwise fans would never have gone for it
    because Vincat was too strong to go on a break. And I think
    feelings-wise they are still strong, but it's like sometimes you just
    need a break to breathe. Plus, them being on a break will be different
    because they love each other so much and like to help one another so I
    think they'll be Vincattish, but with more angst and less touching for a
    short while. LOL Then again, they might just struggle through it and
    stay together even though it is costing them both so much. We shall
    see. Regardless they will be back together before we know it-solid
    couple status because they are just too good together (the characters
    and actors) and the writers KNOW it's Vincat that makes beasties
    obsessed. Like you like other aspects of the show, but you obsess about
    Vincat. lol Also, for people who think the chemistry is lacking please see the dance in ep 3 and the kiss in episode 2. They still have it. I kindly remind you that the chemistry wasn't as strong in the beginning of season 1 either. And JR said later on in S1 the characters were allowed to fall for one another so it makes sense that the chemistry wasn't as strong until then. They aren't allowing themselves to fall for one another completely so the chemistry won't be as strong always! They are hesitant and rightfully so. Also, I love what Lara FC said-something is missing chemistry wise because Vincent is missing." He isn't himself so why would their chemistry be the exact same/as strong!? He said he feels like 2 completely different people. JR said he liked playing Jekyl and Hyde so people should think of Vincent like that until he gets his memories back-his actions will be inconsistent and out of character. We just have to deal with it. And their love story was so compelling and their chemistry so palpable in S1 that I could never give up on it, especially after a few episodes. Again, S1's chemistry wasn't as strong until later on as well. And we know JR and KK still have chemistry in real life, just watch a recent interview, so obviously when they as actors decide VC are in love again/should have that chemistry they will. I still feel it...not as strong in the most recent episodes, but the kiss and dance were WOW palpable and I know they still have it bc chemistry doesn't die that soon ( not long since they filmed those eppies).

    I too am missing the sizzle of VinCat season 1, but I agree that it really wasn't that strong until the latter half. I actually watched Bridesmaid Up again the other day, and surprised myself at how shallow i found it in comparison to this season, as i had it as 1 of my absolute favorite episodes in my mind. Don't get me wrong, i still love it and especially the romantic dance near the end, but i realised that on the whole, for me, it was lacking the interest and depth that i am loving nowadays. This season has so much interesting stuff going on hopefullyand the writers have really upped their game and I'm am really loving it, despite feeling anxious and frustrated for my beautiful VinCat. I know in time things will get resolved & I'm confident that when they finally do, it will be epic. Meanwhile, I truly loved their sexual tension & exquisite kisses in Kidnapped & also the tenderness of Hothead & I enjoyed the dance scene of Liar Liar & the kickboxing scene of Father Knows Best very much too, & so I'm really hoping for at least some more of that sort of thing until the epic reunion finally happens - hopefully sooner rather than later! :)

    I'm a masochist :-) so I won't drop the show just because I don't like all S2 changes . I understand that any shows need changes and new ideas but I don't like inconsistency and confusion. The two seasons are totally and brutally disconnected . S2 is more about "who's next beast" than "Who am I " , except episode 4 I don't recall any emotional meaningful moment re-connecting Vincent to his past , family ,friends (Hello JT !) unless we want consider Gabriela an "epic" moment as much as Catherine finding out about his real dad from an old photo - 2 stupid seconds for the most important discovery of her life ? Wow ! What is really hitting on my nerves is the annoying feeling that Batb writers / producers and actors feel ashamed of things they have done in season 1 which is becoming more and more a sort of rejected creature by the very people who are supposed to love and care for it . And right now THIS is the biggest misunderstanding : I'm still watching Batb BECAUSE of S1 and DESPITE the crazyness of S2. And no sorry , comparing S1 chemistry with S2 is a losing game. VinCat 2.0 are just a pale copy of VinCat 1.0 . Bad acting ? Bad direction ? Bad writing ? Bad storyline choices ? Not sure who's fault but something is off . Unfortunately S1 memories cannot keep them alive forever.
