The story has about come full circle. All the players are on the board now. How will this season play out. Madison M. is back.......look out Fiona. Hank is a "witch hunter" in the serves of Marie (didn't see that coming). Misty Day is back, but "Witchin'stein Kyle" broke Stevie Nicks (NO)! This war has its Villians, Heroes, and Victims..........I can't wait to see how it ends. If your not watching this season of American Horror Story: Coven you're really missing out. 4 A STEVIE NICKS/MISTY DAY UNION, I am Nobody!!!
I thought this was the weakest episode of the season so far actually, it was all a bit jumbled (and more so than AHS usually is!). There wasn't nearly enough Fiona, Marie Laveau and no Delphine at all! I feel like the addition of the Axeman is just the producers way of sticking a real life person in the show as they've done in the past with the Black Dahlia and Anne Frank (kinda). In this episode I thought it felt a bit forced, but hopefully he'll be more relevant now he and Fiona seem to be getting together...
I want Cordelia or somebody find out why Kyle did what he did, I don't like the way they're treating him, Zoe is being very unfair, she is the one to blame for his condition, and she has no right to treat him as a rabid dog.
Actually, both Kathy Bates' and Angela Bassett's characters are based on real life people. I agree this wasn't the strongest episode but I liked it due to more time spent on Misty Day (my fav character). Every week I wish there were more scenes with her and I'd been hoping she would be moving into the academy at some point but it appears that is not going to be happening. I do think next week the Axeman will blend more smoothly into the story.
Does anyone know what Stevie Nicks song Misty Day was playing while in her swamp garden? I know the inside scene with Kyle was Leather and Lace with Don Henley but trying to figure out the other. Was it Sara?
Yeah I know, but they're so integral to the plot this year it doesn't feel forced at all. I too liked that it had more Misty as she is my favourite too, and I have to say I'm glad she seems to be on her own path and not joining the academy just yet. I'm interested to see what happens when Myrtle wakes up though, scenes with those two will be gold!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Nice going, Zoe. A+. You are going to make a horrible Supreme if that theory turns out to be true.
ReplyDeleteYes for "Leather and Lace"! I was hoping they'd play it, but I didn't think it'd fit. I love that song so much (although I prefer Don's part).
And yay for Madison coming back! Did not expect Hank to be a witch hunter or to be working with Marie, tbh.
Not here for Fiona/Axeman.
Great episode!
This was by far the best episode of the season! So many twist!!!
ReplyDeleteThat callback to Charmed put a smile on my face.
ReplyDeleteSo, any guesses on who actually threw the acid?
ReplyDeleteGreat episode!
ReplyDeleteFinally! I am SO happy Madison came back alive. I have missed her tremendously.
"I need a cigarette."
How dare you Kyle breaking Misty's radio.
"He broke Stevie!"
Woah, at Hank being a witch hunter and working for Marie. I guess that explains why he shot Kaylie point blank.
Ew at Fiona/Axeman. No thanks.

ReplyDeleteit's like the first six seasons they give us questions, and the last six they give us answers.
ReplyDeletei would like to speak on behalf of every AHS Coven fan that we are motherfucking ready for some answers!
Myrtle Snow, Fiona just faked her hand injury, but it was really Myrtle in the elevator.
