Wouldn't surprise me if fusco dies, hes been a loose end since the end of the last series, didn't even appear in the final episode. I feel his story has kinda been told, but in saying that, the same could be said of carter...
This looks freaking great. Love that everyone is after Mr. Reese... and also terrified. But I'm more terrified about losing Fusco. Love that guy and I hate that he got shortchanged on getting to do much this season.
I'm kind of pulling for Carter to sacrifice herself for Fusco, since with HR ending, her story has kind of run its course. I say that hating it because I love Carter too. Hmm... I can't decide on anyone I'd want to lose off the team! Just... poor Fusco...
I don't think Carter will die but I can see her leave the NYPD after HR is defeated.....and maybe she get an offer at the FBI for what she did or something
I know, there are other possibilities for Carter... but I just... I just don't want Fusco to die. It just seems unfair they kill Fusco when he's had little to do this season, where Carter has gotten a solid story and they almost set it up tonight until Mr. Reese saved her.
Scratch what I said before, save everyone Mr. Reese!
is there a story to tell about Fusco still, with HR down, both fusco and carter are now free of the dirty cops organisation so they have no story to really tell!
Fusco may not have had much to do this season yet, but that's no reason to think he's gone forever. His story is technically still unfolding. They haven't explored his relationship with his son, and 70% of what he's been doing is rent-a-cop inside police information vending machine work. There's SO much more to explore with him, whereas Carter's experienced 10x the amount of 'fleshing out'. This is the reason I think they're going to kill off Carter while trying to hide it behind Fusco torture.
Just my hunches, based on the promos and the titles (and of course on my hopes):
- Fusco survives. He is "us", the only non-special. You can't have all superheroes, every superhero stories need the "ordinary" contrast. Plus, as I said elsewhere, it's very much not the style of writing of this show to keep a regular character in the box for half a season only to kill him suddenly, even if it is emotional.
- I think his capture will be more of the end of the next episode, when Carter and Reese think they have already made it.
- The title of the closing episode "The Devil's Share" - IMHO it's going to be Reese on his mission to save or avenge Fusco. No knee shooting, no thinking about being human, just his raw side.
- I don't see why some people say that Carter's story will end with the fall of the HR. The Russians will be out on the streets without their protective cover (or not, as the FBI had caught their full first rank together with the cops), and Elias will not be sipping his Barolo in a basement for a ling time. That will be a really interesting story, as she helped him and asked help from him too, so keeping the high ground against him as a cop will not be so easy as it was before.
Sorry, just read the TV Guide article - maybe I was too optimistic about Fusco. Or Carter, because her story is much more developed now, than Fusco's, and Fusco is so very obvious from the promos. I don't know, I will miss any of them.
root/Shaw is a bit like John I would say good replacement???? that hacker that was released by root maybe a replacement for Harold? (or even root herself carter and fusco possibly expendable???
thought 2
Elias owes john and carter a debt maybe root and Elias gang save them all considering the the debt and the machine has root as a puppet
(Elias's line about the mutual Enemy)
HR sets a bounty one John what a perfect way to kill HR and all Elias Competition
I don't think they will kill Carter now. I spent all the previous episode thinking they would, I am glad I was wrong. But now it seems a bit counter intuitive to build it all up again. I think Fusco will die in this episode and John and Carter will get all revengy and finish HR once and for all in the 3rd part of the arc. This looks insane, I can't wait for this. Love this show
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
