Here's one reason to celebrate ABC's decision to stick with its struggling Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. The spin-off has just closed a deal with Barbara Hershey to reprise her popular Once Upon a Time role as Cora, The Queen of Hearts.
Even though Cora met her demise on Once, where she made life hell for everyone including her daughter Regina, executive producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz stated over the summer their intentions to introduce the character into Alice's Wonder world.
For now, Hershey is scheduled to appear in just one March episode — the series' 11th hour.

Implying that ther series makes it past episode 11 and is picked up for a full season ?
ReplyDeleteIt was picked up for more than 13 episodes but less than a full season and is a limited series.I think they're saying in the series finale by "in the series 11th hour".It has a split season like most of abcs other shows this season, Midseason finale airs Dec 12 then it returns in spring date TBA.With it getting 0.9 the past two episodes, there's no way it'll get a full season. Its being replaced while on hiatus by the Taste
ReplyDeleteI know that it was supposed to be a 13 episode limited series to bridge the time while OuaT was off the air. But these plans were scrapped in favour of a full series. And I don't see ABC bringing it back after winter break
ReplyDeleteIt Is still a limited series with less than 22 episodes even after they changed the plan.ABCs Midseason schedule was released last week and it said it will be back in spring as they have only 7 of 16-18 episodes by mid Dec.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks something like this:
ReplyDeleteKnave/Anastasia - FTL - Robin Hood/Maleficent castle raid
Knave Ana us stolen mirror to enter Wonderland
Ana Marries A King: starts to be become "The Red Queen"...
Cora should either already be in Wonderland or is soon to arrive in Wonderland - via Rumple/Regina Mirror.
Alice comes to Wonderland as child...
Alice as a child, teen, or young adult helps get the Knave's heart presumably from Cora.
Sometime Regina sends Hook to Wonderland to assist Cora.
Somehow Henry Sr. was taken to Wonderland. Shrunk, put in vault box.
Regina goes to Wonderland to retrieve Henry Sr. via Jefferson. Jefferson left behind. looses head.
Sometime "Jack" goes to Wonderland and slays Jaberwacky. Tells James about it in FTL.
Jefferson somehow ends up back in FTL (is apart of curse)
Knave goes back to FTL (is apart of curse)
Cora goes back to FTL via Hook (not part of curse)
----------Regina unleashes curse---------(28 yr stasis)
Cora unleashes dome
Everyone else transforms into Storybrook (including the Knave)
Alice goes to Wonderland and looses Cyrus to the Red Queen..
Alice goes home. Is institutionalized.
Early season 2 Knave is retrieved by White Rabbit in Storybrook. They go and free Alice and go back to Wonderland
Snow and Emma go to FTL meet Hook and Cora (Aurora, Mulan, Anton).
Cora and Hook are able to follow Emma & snow back to Storybrook...
If you ask me, they should've moved it to the Sunday 9pm slot, after its parent show, for the remainder of its run. At least then it might have benefited from OUaT as a lead-in. Instead they sent a new show (Resurrection) there to "compete" with (read: be slaughtered by) The Walking Dead and later Game of Thrones. Go figure.
ReplyDeletebut if the curse was only 28 years, how can it still coincide with the Victorian Age flashbacks we got last episode
ReplyDeleteI wish the writers would put up an official time line or something, this has been bothering me from the start
I'm looking for a link, but I thought it was sometime stated that most of the realities/timelines were effected by the curse. If I can find where it is stated, I will come back and a link.
ReplyDeleteAND Alice's reality is a [fictional] "Victorian" parallel reality, not The Land Without Magic's past. I've been told this is a reality that The Darlings are from as well and we might be introduced to other 1800's literary characters (Mr. Darcy appeared in "Who's Alice")
that is awesome ! cora will steal the thunder XD
ReplyDeletelet's keep our fingers crossed !
ReplyDeleteI don't think you would understand the episode without watching the rest of the show XD #NotACopShow
ReplyDeleteit's a flashback i guess
ReplyDeleteAs are the writers hehe.
ReplyDeleteAah, now it makes sense =) thank you
ReplyDeleteNo prob! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's still would be nice if they or ABC would put out a time line(s) for us!!
This was extremely helpful! Thank you @DarthLocke4
ReplyDeleteI love me some Cora. I'm excited we'll get to see her again.
ReplyDeleteI also forgot that Cyrus and Alice adventures may include going to Neverland, as "Pirates and Mermaids" were mentioned in "Down The Rabbit Hole"...Perhaps there's a story here that derives from when Hook arrived to assist Cora...maybe Cora and Hook didn't directly come from Wonderland, but Neverland before arriving in FTL....maybe that is where the Knave's heart was taken/is?????
