Careful. The last thing I'd want is for Mary Margaret to rub off on Emma too much. I think she could probably use a little more Regina... no not that way, SwanQueen people.
That's why I love Emma -- she never gives up, never sees defeat, if it's something she wants enough to fight for.
Poor Rumple. I still think the boy who is his undoing is not Henry. Heck, it could even be Bae since his life went off the rails first getting back to baby Bae, then becoming the Dark One to keep him from military service, and then ruining his life to get Bae back.
I understand that discovering a man in your midst who is supposed to be helping you save your son was originally planning to kill your son . . . but if he truly does want to change and reverse that prophecy, can;t you give him the benefit of doubt?? I'm not telling the others to trust Rumple anyway after what they'd just found out . . . I'm saying they need to give him a chance. What Rumple needs is people to believe in him, and if they don't, then maybe he'd very well follow through on with the prophecy!!! Please show them you're capable of redeeming yourself, Rumple... :-(
This is a "reap what you sow" situation. Because of his past actions, no one has any reason to believe Rumple or give him a chance. Who would be willing to take that kind of chance with a man like Rumpelstiltskin when the stakes are the life of one's own child?
Short of handing Emma his dagger, I can't think of anything Rumple could do to make the group trust him.
Since he doesn't HAVE the dagger he can't do that. I agree it is a reap what you sow situation. It is also the best chance he has to prove he wants to redeem himself, by saving Henry and (almost) dying. Almost because I can NOT imagine them writing Rumple out. I'd stop watching if they did that.
Cool scene. A part of me wants to feel sorry for Rumple but I can definitely see where the others are coming from. We,as viewers, know by now that he does want to save Henry but the others have absolutely NO reason to trust him. It'll be interesting to see if/how he can prove himself. And even if he does in this situation there are still past actions that need to be addressed.
The entire quote is You will be reunited with your son, and it will come in a most unexpected way. A boy, a young boy will lead you to him, but beware Rumplestiltskin for that boy is more than he appears, he will lead you to what you seek, but there will be a price, the boy will be your undoing.
Since Henry led Rumple to Nealfire, I think it pretty much has to be Henry who they are talking about, unless Pan's machinations had something to do with Rumple finding Nealfire, except Pan isn't a young boy. Maybe Pinnochio telling Neal the spell was broken is what they are talking about. However, currently I can't think of any young boy other than Henry who led Rumple to Neal. That said there is NO WAY Rumple will be written out. I think that would really drive viewers away, so I expect "Undoing" does not equal death but is some form of undoing the curse of the Dark One.
oh my god WHY did you say that? Now I want this to happen so badly! I miss the Emma/Rumpel standoffs, and this would be a great opportunity for one of those, along with a mutual glare of dislike/distrust hahaha
Is funny, two episodes ago I started to see the plot going further when Regina and Rumple saw each other again and made a deal. I think even when they wanted to make a Peter Pan evil (which is cool just because Robbie is doing an excellent job) they are wasting a great potential storyline there, in Neverland. They could do so much things not only for Henry, I feel like they are putting a lot of romantic scenes between the charmings and Nealfire & Emma (& Hook) that they are forgetting what they did back in s1. And sadly I believe we won't see Ariel very much as happened with Ashley (Cinderella). In my opinion I see the show right now like a raw food, they should cook the show much more.
I agree completely; like I said, they don't have to trust him. But neither do they have to hold him at sword point because of what they've heard. And yes, Rumple's disappearance on the island from the premiere might make him suspicious, but they need to hear him out. Hasn't Rumple already shown Regina and Neal that he is willing to die for Henry?? And now they're all turning against him without real PROOF of what he originally intended to do. That's why I wish they would give him the benefit of doubt. (And my defense of Rumple is probably extremely biased; he is my overall favorite character on the show. It's easy to defend your favorite characters no matter what they do, right?? But I really do try my best to be fair to all characters and viewpoints.)
how about if he WANTED to kill henry he'd do just that before they start to blink. and kill them all right in the spot too leaving only their shiny trinkets on the ground. I'm sick of these hypocrites. all these times he helped them don't worth a damn? all these times they tumbled into his shop/ dark castle as it was was their home and DEMANDING help from him and leave without a thanks? well I'd say save henry and f leave all these idiots to save their asses on their own for once.
whoa rumple's secret was uncovered very quickly. when hook's turn I wonder. or we suppose to forget that he banged neal's mama and sold him to pan for cookies?
hell NO. why HE should trust this bunch of hypocrites in the first place. and we know that nothing good comes then idiot family takes the dagger. thank you.
I adore Robert as Rumple, but I don't really blame the group for going on the offense. Rumple has shown time and time again that he does what's in his favour, and despite the number of times he's helped some of the people in the group, the times he's worked against him hang over their heads like a dark cloud.
I think for certain Rumple will have to do something drastic in order to show that he is trustworthy. What that is, we'll have to wait and see!
He helped them because he got something out of it. Everything he did for Regina, Snow and Charming in the Enchanted Forest was for his own selfish gain.
I really feel sorry for Rumpel, and I seriously feel like smashing something on Neal's head - repeatedly. Sure, his father is bad, but so is Pan, and he chooses to trust Pan? He knows what Pan is capable of doing.
But Pan is telling the truth...? As the viewer, even we know he's telling the truth. And there was that time at the end of season 2 when Rumple almost impaled Henry on the rocks..... how does Neal seem like the bad guy in all of this? His first priority is his son.
and in storybrooke? whats saving mm from regina helped him gain? helping henry when he was burning in his sleep? restoring wail's hand? helping save regina ass from greg after what she did with belle? let's not pretend that never happened. he's done good things too and didn't rape or kill anyone in sb unlike some other ''misunderstood'', ''badly treated'' characters. what they did in tfl helped him to reach his goal yes but but they did gained something good too. and it's THEM who always go to him for easy solution both in tfl and sb not other way around. let's not forget about that too please.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
You know he prolly could, except for maybe Regina.

Too late, Swan Queen shippers are now inspired and currently typing out a new round of 1000 page fanfictions.
ReplyDelete"Pan's Compound" is like a scene from Zero Dark Thirty

His shadow hid the dagger in Neverland, so he can have his shadow go get it.

Rbin Hood's son ALSO lead Rumple to Bae
ReplyDeleteit's a pity that the new "skipit" feature won't let anyone see the video anymore without making them pay "just a few cents" so see it.
ReplyDeletethis episode is going to be epic

ReplyDeletewell actually he's right ^^ Roland did lead bae to neverland, to Rumple !
ReplyDeleteYeah but I meant "Bae to Rumple, not Rumple to Bae".

What has he done to show that he's willing to die for Henry? I mean, he did try to kill Henry only six days before.
ReplyDeleteHe helped them because he got something out of it. Everything he did for Regina, Snow and Charming in the Enchanted Forest was for his own selfish gain.

ReplyDeleteBWAHAHAHAAHAHAHA.
ReplyDeleteThey're not particularly trustworthy either. Something that has literally been said on the show. In the previous episode, actually.
