“Dark Hollow” – Mr. Gold and Regina send Ariel back to Storybrooke with an item that will allow Belle to locate a hidden artifact that could help take down Pan. But unbeknownst to them, two men have broken into the town with the intent to stop them – at all costs. Meanwhile, Emma, Neal and Hook attempt to find Dark Hollow, where Peter Pan’s shadow dwells, in order to capture it, and Mary Margaret is upset with David for keeping his poisoning a secret from her, on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

For some reason, even after all this time, it's difficult to imagine Ginnifer angry about anything. I just can't picture someone like her being angry. I mean, how does it even look?

ReplyDeleteCan't wait!!! I just hope that the two men breaking into Storybrooke won't be random weak plot devices to add suspense and action in the Storybrooke subplot. Other than that, I'm really looking forward to it!!!
ReplyDeleteMary Margaret needs to get over it. David was doing what he thought was best. She needs to file this under "life sucks, get a helmet" and keep moving forward. This isn't exactly the worst situation they've gotten each other out of so this is just another item to check off the to-do list before they leave Neverland.
ReplyDeleteSnow being angry understandable, her face one of anger when David told her, Snow and anger face was funny and endearing, because we dont see it often lol. But Snow needs to see David is alive, he isnt dying day by day as he was before.

ReplyDeleteDavid was doing what they both agreed to do - putting rescuing Henry above everything else. She can't start bitching about it when it gets tough. David followed through with the plan and she's having a temper tantrum.

ReplyDeleteAnd the fact that multiple characters on this show cheat death on a regular basis significantly dampens the importance of what happened to David enough to keep his mouth shut and carry on.

ReplyDeleteShe's his wife. If you're expecting her not to be upset that he kept something from her, no matter the circumstances, then you're being unreasonable. Love isn't the least big logical, so trying to impose logic on a situation where she's upset because she loves him is kind of pointless.

Part of a successful relationship is the open honesty - while it is understandable that David would hide it, it is equally understandable that Snow would be so upset.
ReplyDeleteIt all sounds great so far. I really hope these new flunkies of Pan's are less annoying than Greg and Tamara. From the trailer, it looks as if Neverland will be seriously creepy this week, which is nice - it's been a bit subdued in terms of the scare factor thus far.

It's quite irrelevant how many time characters on the show cheat death. In that situation, David was five minutes away from death and never told his wife.
ReplyDeleteSnow will deal with this in time, but right now she's got lots of reasons to be upset with David. It's not asking too much to expect your husband will keep you informed of the important things, like his imminent death. If mine ever failed to mention this, I think I'd kill him anyways.
Yeah I don't forsee Emma, Hook and Neal working as a team. If this doesn't end badly I'll be very surprised.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure he is upset with his mother.But it's also easier to be upset with someone who's still alive and therefore an available target for all the anger.Personally at this point,I just want Neal to acknowledge his mother's death(and the tiny detail of his father's involvement).Up until the S2 finale I was certain that he didn't know the whole story.But it turns out that he did and personally,I can't believe that it didn't come up in one of his fights with his father.
ReplyDeleteI'm expecting Neal's anger towards Hook to be more about what happened with the Lost Boys the first time they were in Neverland.Hook letting them take Neal wasn't right,that's for sure,but I'm also hoping that now that he's older,he'll also realize that blaming Hook for Milah's death was the worst thing he could possibly do.
Neal's made plenty of dumb moves, I'm sure he'll keep that streak alive.

ReplyDeleteTo me, it made perfect sense to rescue Neil. He is Henry's father, knows the island and Pan and therefore is very well equipped to help them rescue Henry, plus he can help them get off the island. It would be stupid not to rescue him, IMO.

I was reacting to your comments that the Charmings are stupid ("lack in brains") because they "dropped everything to go rescue bloody Neal". Maybe I missunderstood you? If we are in agreement that it would have been stupid to not save both Neal and Charming then I probably did.
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't know, maybe because Hook handed Neal over to Pan when he didn't want to play house with him? I mean, for real, I don't even like the dude, but I can't help but laugh whenever his actual, factual past issues with Hook are downplayed and poor Killykins Jones only needs to put on the puppy dog eyes and it's the end of the world and everyone and their mothers should comfort him because he's been treated so unfairly. Let me be clear here, I'm not accusing you personally of doing that. But it's a tendency I have noticed in fandom.
ReplyDeleteOne way to solve the triangle love is through killing off one of the men - so I think it's either Neal or Hook. But I'd be sad if it happened. :(
ReplyDeleteI don't see the value in Neal or anything he does, so perhaps I'm biased. But I doubt he'll prove to be essential to the rescue. I'd much rather have Charming at my back.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for the Charmings lacking brains. I love them, I truly do, but God, they've made some serious errors in judgement.
The only context in which I'd like to see them again is a deeper explanation of the mechanics of Pan's "Home Office" - in a flashback, I mean. Maybe if I knew more about their pasts and how they got tangled up with Pan, I wouldn't dislike them so much. Actually, Greg's backstory was pretty interesting, and I had no problem at all with the child version of him, mainly because that kid was a better actor than either his adult counterpart or Henry (sorry, Jared Gilmore).

ReplyDeleteYeah his backstory was definitely interesting! And pretty evil. That was a great episode, cool insight into Regina's 'happy ending' I still like Jared though! I think he's good. The problem is they use Henry more as a story device, than as an actual character.
I think it'll be part of the bigger picture once everybody is back in Storybrooke.

Ahh, I didn't know that. I guess we will be finding out more then :) I like that about OUAT, they address things quickly, instead of leaving lots of lose ends. I'm re-watching season 1 right now, and I'm catching so many future references, it's so awesome. My favourite so far is when Regina asks Emma in 1x04 what she enjoys so much about Tallahassee ;)
