New Social Sharing Icons/Features

Hey All,

Just a little update to give you on a recent site change we've made based on some of the recent feedback we received from our Reader Survey.

One of the things people were asking me a lot was how can I post Article XYZ on Social Service ABC.

So today we've replaced the existing Facebook Like, Tweet and G+ Buttons with a new Universal Sharing System. This has a couple of advantages.

1) They load 5 times faster than the previous buttons
2) They provide the ability to share the article with almost any social service rather than restricting you to Facebook, G+ and Twitter. eg Tumblr, Stumbleupon plus over 200 other services.
3) You can also email directly the article and print it out if you like.

The buttons appear whenever you are are viewing an article and are located under Post Title/Date/Labels section.

Just click the icon of the service you want to share with, it should then load either a popup or new page allowing you to share the article.

The orange + icon at the end of the row of icons gives you access to more services. Just hover your mouse over it to reveal a drop-down menu.

You can, if you wish, also sign-in to AddThis so that you can configure the list of services that appear in the Drop-down menu.

Once you have yours configured, whenever you view any article on SpoilerTV or any other site that uses the AddThis service you will see your preferred list of services in the drop-down.
