EMILY WICKERSHAM JOINS THE TEAM, ON “NCIS”
THIS JUST IN…

…From the CBS Television Network

LOS ANGELES – Nov. 4, 2013 — Emily Wickersham joins the team on NCIS as a series regular beginning Tuesday, Nov. 19. She plays NSA Analyst Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop, a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism who specializes in international threat assessment and global preparation.

“Emily Wickersham’s Ellie Bishop is proving to perfectly compliment the NCIS team,” said Executive Producer Gary Glasberg. “Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Great things are planned for Bishop and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on board.”

Wickersham’s character, Ellie Bishop, will be introduced when it is discovered the Secretary of the Navy was bugged during a confidential briefing, a security breach Bishop described in exact detail two years ago in a threat analysis report. Working side-by-side with Gibbs and the team, Bishop cross-examines the case file to help determine who is behind the crime.

Wickersham’s film credits include “Gone,” “I am Number Four” and “Remember Me.” Her television credits include “The Sopranos,” “The Bridge” and “Gossip Girl.”

The 11th season of NCIS is broadcast Tuesdays, 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.

Going to give her a chance, though. Hopefully she'll be great.

  2. Wasn't that expected? I'm not expecting her to replace Ziva, that will never happen but i was enjoying the team the way it was.Reminded me of the earlier days,it was fun.If she fits in great.

  3. I am excited about this! Hope she fits in well.

  4. Cool! Considering she is an Analyst she would be a fit with McGee which would be better than trying a force pairing with Tony

  5. Except McGee already has a girl, no need to pair the new Agent together with any of the "boys" to be honest.

  6. Awesome! I can't wait to meet her. She seems like a lot of fun.

  7. 'A security breach Bishop described in exact detail two years ago' You know, if she hadn't been issued with a regular role, I'd have suspected her for the crime. Is she going to be a good Ziva replacement? We'll see.

  8. I'm just glad they made a decision. These "special episodes" filled with returning guest stars and team fill-ins have been alright but the show is stuck in neutral. Put the new girl in there, build a new team dynamic, and move forward.
