Lost Girl Episode1 Season 4 Review: "In Memoriam"

Lost Girl is finally back! After a long hiatus, lots of cliffhangers left in season 3, I may say the fans are crazy right now!
So, how was the premiere?
It was amazing! It took me some minutes to figure out what was happening. And, as Anna Silk (who plays Bo Dennis) said weeks ago, Lost Girl was upside down!
If I needed to resume it, in one sentence, I should say that it was "Kenzi's" episode, and Ksenia Solo nailed it!
First we start the episode with Kenzi coming out from underneath of a truck, sneaking around and saying some sarcastic comments (as usual) about fae world and finding a mystical box. And before getting caught, she was able to read only "The Una Mens" (weird creatures presented in a Lost Girl webisode, two weeks ago).

Saved by Hale and Dyson, she had to prove to the Fae (that caught her) she is not human... And BAMM!!!!We see Kenzi's hands producing fireworks as a bad ass tinker bell! And she comes out with a cute and funny quote: "All Fae baby, feel the heat!" (seriously, I laughed out loud!).

But soon, when Kenzi is talking to Dyson and Hale, we get to know that those are temporary powers, to hide her as a human, since the Fae called her terrorist and are looking for her.
Dyson takes Kenzi home and there, we may notice that she's living alone, wearing Bo's kimono, in a very messy clubhouse, full of thongs all over the place, and feeling lonely. Dyson starts to flirt with her, and they kiss!!!

A moment after breaking the kiss, they hear someone knocks the door, and that's Aife! Asking to talk to a talented private investigator, using her Succubus' power to convince Kenzi.




It cuts to Aife, Kenzi and Dyson seating on a restaurant table and the Succubus asking for them to find her daughter Bo, that she can't remember, but she, sure, had. She tells them about getting her memory, somehow, erased and show them a picture of Bo. After talking about a payment, they agree to help Aife to find her daughter and we understand that they all lost their memories and Bo seems to be erased of their lives.
Kenzi goes to the Dal to talk to Trick and we get to know who are the "Una Mens"( a near omniscient council of Fae authorities whose sole purpose is to ensure the old laws are followed). Trick gives Kenzi a card of a Fae optometrist who feeds on memories.
Kenzi and Dyson go there and the "doctor" compliments them on the excellent mind erasing work they’ve had done, and they get disturbed to notice that Aife, isn't the only one with an erased mind.

They go back to the Blood king and Trick tells them they need the Ricardo Montalban Compass to undo the memory loss, but a rich Fae collector has it and he’s throwing one bash before the Una Mens comes in to take over.

There's a cool scene where Dyson goes to get tickets to the ball in Vex's office,in exchange of his silence about the misterious death (or not) of the old Morrigan!Yes, Vex is the new Morrigan! It looks like the old Morrigan is dead.

Back to the club house, Kenzy can't pick clothes and acessories to go to the ball. She calls Lauren, she doesn't answer, so Kenzi leaves a voice message asking for color blocking and science help.

Then Massimo shows up, armed, in a not so friendly way, to deliver more of Kenzi’s sparkle cream, and ansking her for his payment, with money or a different kind of payment (if you know what I mean). She promises him to pay it later, but gets just a small sample of the magical cream.
At the ball,Kenzi pulls Hale off to the dance floor to show off her Tango moves to catch The Collector’s eye and get the Ricardo Montalban's compass.

Dyson, at the bar,flirts with a nymph, Cleo(Mia Kirshner)who asks him to "buy her a free drink"!

He tries to have a small talk with her, but unsuccessfully, goes to the dance floor to help Kenzi and Hale to show their Tango moves in a beautiful performance of Libertango from Astor Piazzola.

Kenzi earns the final rose and a chance to meet The Collector (George Takei).

In a snake body, he grants her her wish for the Compass even though he knows she’s human. But then he says he's going to eat her, and Kenzi runs and hides from the Collector. Dyson saves her, killing the giant snake, and they have a talk about their feelings, deciding to remain friends.

Vex shows up at the ball wanting to stop Kenzi, Dyson and Hale from getting their memories back. This leads to a fight between the Mesmer and the Siren, and Hale knocks Vex down with his whistle.

Dyson and Kenzi use the compass and as soon as they stop feeling a kind of headache-because-they-got-their-memory-back, they remember about Bo.

Trick goes to see Aife, and she gets really mad at him, when she remembers Bo, and all the back story .

And finally, Dr. Lauren Lewis shows up as a red-haired waitress using Amber as her name. She stops setting a table while remembering Bo, starting to cry...

After Lauren remembering her, Bo opens her eyes, succubus blue eyes. And as the lead role, making her amazing "one second" appearance on the episode!

The first episode of the 4th season, was epic, and left us crazy about the other episodes to come!
