The Blacklist is a beast, Agents of Shield looks healthy and Person of Interest makes me wish they hadn't moved it.
ReplyDeletei'm happy that revenge got a huge dvr increase so it shows that people are still watching the show
ReplyDeleteWow at The Originals! A 1,7 rating for an CW-show is insane! Already beating Arrow (1,4)!
ReplyDeletethx for the answer ;)
ReplyDeleteBeauty and the Beast again scored first place with a 100% increase. I don't know how much DVR+7 ratings help, but they certainly can't hurt!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see 100% post air ate increase for BATB, we just need to do better on the overall ratings. I know we can do it Beasties, we have faith in our beautiful show. #BatB
ReplyDeleteArrow had 1.7 too its first season, so I don't think this comparision is in place. Both shows did good for the CW and The Originals will beat Arrow when it passes 1.3 in L+SD 18-49.
ReplyDeleteWell I didn't know that, but yeah, you're right, comparing a freshman with a 2 year-old show was a bad idea in the first place.
ReplyDeleteThat's great news on the BATB front, I'm sure the CW is aware that viewers are tuning in even if it's streaming we're watching:)
ReplyDeleteWhile they are most certainly aware of it, they don't care since those viewers are not giving them any money since they don't watch the adds.
ReplyDeleteWhile it certainly doesn't hurt, it will not make a meaningful difference either. Not only are these views not profitable (people don't watch the commercials, so they don't generate revenues for the cw), but the relative position of the show is also terrible (a 0.6 in a world The Originals does 1.7)
ReplyDeleteI agree, those numbers are very very impressive, I didn't expect such a high increase
ReplyDeleteIf only they were to watch it live :S I don't think the DVR increase is all that huge though
ReplyDeleteWell that isn't completely true, I watch it live on the CW, and also stream it on the CW and watch every comercial even on occasion bought some of the products advertised, I'm sure I'm not the only one that does that
ReplyDeleteThen your numbers are not being counted here. If you do watch the show with commercials within 3 days of the initial airing (and if you have a Nielsen box, of course), then that's counted for the C3 numbers, which are different from the L7 numbers we see here, which include all viewing, regardless of whether or not you watch commercial.
ReplyDeletei think that a 79% increase is a lot, but though it kind makes me sad that it only has a 2.5 even with dvr when on the beginning of last season it will pulling like a 2.8 live
ReplyDeleteI think looking at the percentages is misleading. 2.5 is still lower or equal to what Greys, Scandal and Shield pull and only slighly higher than what OUAT (and even Castle in a good week) pull, all in Live+SD. I hate to say this because Revenge is one of my favorite shows but I think it's not good.
ReplyDeletei agree i mean a 2.5 even with dvr is not good.
ReplyDeleteI wish that more people would watch.the.show though and considering it got a 1.3 this week with dvr it will be like a 2.3 which.is bad
