OMG. Can't wait to see it. I really hope they don't "make her gay" though. No offence meant. She can be gay/bi/queer/whatever on any other show but my #Finanda heart could not take her being gay on SVU. There was something going on with her ex captain and she oogled those firemen in the stripclub so to make her gay would be wrong imo. Bi maybe or perhaps she's into something kinky, exploring a bit, which is totally cool in my book. I love [LOVE] tension in the squad room and it seems we'll get it there as well as in the courtroom (judging by the promo photos) so I'm already loving it.
I doubt she's gay, she just has a roommate that happens to be a woman. I love how people automatically assume that Rollins is Gay. In NYC, most people need to have a roommate in order to live in apartment. That's basically what Rollins is doing I could be wrong, I don't think she's gay.
I don't think Amanda has moved so I think she's probably just there as a friend (although Tmblrs are posting pictures with that roughed up bed in the background circled which imo doesn't have to mean a thing, the bed that is) But I hope you're right about the not gay bit. I think this might just be Warren & Co jerking us around a bit. They obviously are aware of the Rolivia shippers out there & a large crowd (or atleast strong voices) that want Amanda gay, and it wouldn't be the first time the promo hinted to something that wasn't in the actual ep. I do agree though with some on the forums that the show would benefit from a strong, queer character. Perhaps they could bring Huang back as a regular or recurring?? He's not doing anything steady since Awake right. He's awesome.
@Morbid Pet- I wouldn't use the word queer, in the US it's not a good word here. The Word Gay would be suffice, it's a put down and a bad word here. Just to tell you.
Thanks for letting me know Joanna. I'll keep using it though (well not on forums like this perhaps but IRL) cause where I live - thankfully - it's not a shameful word at all. Quite the opposite actually. A few years ago we used HBT as a short for people who didn't label themselves straight. But nowadays it's HBTQ - Homosexual, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer. It's too bad the society feels the need to label people all the time but atleast now you can call yourself Queer if you don't fit into any of the other categories and that gives you a great range/a free space to be anything you want basically. I think it's awesome. I think my little country has come a long way (still not far enough though) and it makes me kinda proud (tomorrow though I'll probably be back to bickering about the frickin cold or something else about my "stupid" country *lol*)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Is it an old friend or someone she met in NY I'm very intrigued and is the friend even innocent
