  1. Loving this season of Grimm. This poll is hard for me because I am torn between three scenes: Renard telling Nick how it is (most intense), Monroe asking Rosalee to move in with him (sweetest), and Monroe, Hank, and Nick tricking Chef into confessing (most exciting).

  2. Same for me.

Honorable mention to the Nick moving out scene.

  3. I went with the scene where Renard points out Nick has killed before, and he doesn't beat himself up about Wessen.

  4. Wow, Dahne, you're busy lately. I loved how the romantic scene was played by Silas and Rosalee.
    Him: ...Because, Rosalee,....I love you.
Her: Well, that's a relief, because I love you too.
    Awwww...

  5. I went with the Nick-Renard scene, really loved it. But I also liked the Monroe-Rosalee scene, the party, Nick going grey again (which remains strange), Nick talking to the chef in the restaurant and of course the end (Monroe and Nick fighting, arresting the chef, ''and this little piggy went to jail", the ''what will we serve the blutbad tonight'' ... ) Great episode as always :)

  6. I loved that scene as well. It was so awkward in places but then the surprise party completely surprised me as well. I love the Grimm Gang. So happy to see Bud again too.

  7. I ended up voting for that too. It was a much needed reality check and I hope Nick takes it to heart.

  8. They are great actors! They played it so well that it almost seems like they're really in love! One of the sweetest scenes ever!

  9. Ha! Too busy. I still have 3 reviews to post for this week. I am desperately trying to get someone to take the Dracula polls but so far no takers. I agree that the restaurant scene with Monroe and Rosalee was very sweet. I don't ship but I do like this couple and I hope things don't get too dramatic for them this year. Can't wait until we meet their parents though. That one is going to be all kinds of fun.

  10. I first saw Silas Weir Mitchell on Burn Notice, where he quickly became one of my favorite characters. So when I heard he was starring in Grimm, I knew I had to check it out. I love Monroe as a character even more. Add to that Bree Turner and I know every scene with them is going to be golden. I had an opportunity last season to sit in on a phone interview with Bree and she was so grateful to the fans. It was awesome.

  11. There were so many awesome scenes to choose from in this episode, but I too went with Nick and Renard. I really hope that Nick doesn't go into a guilt spiral and so I appreciated the bluntness of Renard even more. I am trying to find a pattern in when Nick goes gray but so far I haven't. I'd like to see them build that story line up more in the upcoming episodes.

  12. I had a falling out with Burn Notice after Season 1 and only saw Season 2- 6 right before Season 7 started (because I wanted to see it all), so Grimm was the first time I ever saw Silas on a show. He was great on Burn Notice too, I agree.

  13. Me too, but I also want some answers about it in the next episode. You're right, hopefully their conversation was eye-opening for Nick because he can't keep feeling quilty about it. And it was the truth, when he kills wesen he doesn't feel quilty about it, it's just because he was an ordinary human who couldn't defend himself really well so... Hope the quilt ends there.

  14. I missed Bud too... I hope he'll show up again in the next episode :)

  15. I so wanted Seymour to come back in the final season, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Burn Notice was one of my favorite action shows and I adore Fi's character. However, I almost had a falling out with it in season 5. I was so happy when the last 2 seasons ended up some of the best work the cast and crew had ever done.

  16. Bud is so good hearted and such fun comic relief that I always look forward to his scenes. Plus, his wife is one amazing woman. That cake was awesome!

  17. I am always up for getting answers. I don't think they will stretch it out as long as they did the amnesia story line so I think by the midseason finale it will either be over or we will know what is going on. I think the royal story line is going to be the season-long one this year.

  18. Yeah, I especially loved Season 6, though at times I did miss the one episode stories. The team on the run was intense. And when Sam was shot I was so worried and relieved once he was okay.

  19. Agreed. Most seasons I think Burn Noitce did an excellent job at mixing mytharc with standalones, probably the best of any show I watch. There were so many tense moments in season 6 that it felt like they got the original adrenaline back. I also liked when Fi was in prison. When I originally heard the idea, I hated it because I never liked when the team was separated. Surprisingly it worked very well I thought, and everyone got time to shine in those episodes.

  20. When that scene aired I was like ''0_o where did that come from? NIck didn't kill too much...he killed 3 reapers..killed the wesen in the premiere...and the one he killed with his mom and this one and that one....oh well nevermind''. I didn't think about the body count 'til the captain pointed it out. He does have a point. But I found he did say it a bit harsh^^; Not that he's the nice character who warm and sugarcotting everything, but he wasn't so rude and direct the last couple of episodes.

  21. I don't mind the royal storyline, I actually kinda like it :) I hope we'll know what's going on with him in the next episode but you never know with grimm....

  22. He killed the reaper in the pilot, he and hank killed the blutbad in the pilot, he killed the female mellifer in beeware , he fought the female geier in organ grinder who later fell into the fire pit, he and hank shot soledad in three coins in a fuchsbau, he killed ariels father in plumed serpent, he was there when ian shot waltz and helped covering it up, the two reapers, the mauvais dentes, he and hank killed kreski in to protect and serve man, four verrat in season of the hexenbiest, he helped killing volcanalis, he killed the raub-kondor (george) in endangered, baron samedi in the ungrateful dead and of course the man in the bar fight. I think that's it..

    ReplyDelete
  23. He tried to pull the female Geier back from the pit, it was her own fault that she fell, so I don't count her. And Ariel's father was a case of suicide by Grimm, so I tend to not count him either. Neither do I could Baron Samedi, who for one died from the crash and two Nick wasn't himself. The mauvois dentes was killed by his mother, not by him, he only was on the scene. I might be wrong, but wasn't the raubkondor killed by either Monroe or Rosaleee?
I forgot about the Blutbad and the female Mellifer (Melissa)...but then, he killed her to protect Adalind, making Renard's accusations even more senseless. I think Nick would feel just as guilty if it turns out that the guy in the bar was a Wesen after all, and just as non-guilty if the Reaper who attacked Marie had just be a normal attacker like he originally thought.

  24. I love the royal story line. I am hoping that through it we get a bigger picture of the Wesen-Grimm world.

  25. ''You will never stop us'' - Nick glares at a supposed to be dead Monroe who dots his eyes back and for before closing them.

    That scene made me LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I agree about the Geier now you mention it. About Ariel's father, that's possible too. About Baron Samedi, he wasn't himself but he still made the plane crash that caused him to die so... I don't remember about the Mauvais Dentes, it's possible but they both fought him so without him his mother probably couldn't have done it either. He took the the gun with the special bullets from the Raub-Kondor and shot him, I remember that. I agree that the speech from Renard didn't make much sense but Nick still killed 3 reapers, 4 verrat and a Nuckelavee by himself and he didn't regret that because they wanted to kill him so Renard was still right about the fact that the guy was just human.

  27. I want to know more about the time that the grimms worked for the royals because that's just strange. Maybe some of them still do?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Mommy put a knife into the throat of the Mauvois Dentes.
I think Renard is wrong. Nick doesn't feel guilty because he was a human, he feels guilty because he was in Nick's eyes an innocent. If he had been an innocent Wesen, Nick would feel just as guilty.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I agree, but I just think Renard does have a point too. If the guy would have been a Mauvais Dentes or something else that's bad, he wouldn't have felt thát quilty about it. If he was for example a Mauzhertz, he would have. It's probably just because he was innocent, yes.

  30. Haha I loved that scene too :) Monroe with such a dramatic voice is just so funny to hear :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. That was one big cake. Bud's wife is very generous. Hope we get to see her.

    ReplyDelete
  32. He wasn't innocent, he was carrying a knife and showed he would use it. The point wasn't he was innocent, it was he was human,

    ReplyDelete
  33. That's why Renard's accusation was off for me. Nick would've felt as bad if that guy had been Wesen. He was collateral damage. I chalk it up to Renard being on edge because of his brother's (presumed) death and a lack of sleep.

  34. I'm not sure that I want to. I always thought that it was fun that Mrs. Columbo stayed invisible, and I have begun to think of Bud's wife as the shows Mrs. Columbo

  35. One thing which is noticeable that the body count in the second season was higher...I hope that they tone it down for the third. I liked the show better when Nick used alternative means, thus breaking the mould.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think it's a little of both. He was gonna use the knife but it was actually out of self-defense: some crazy guy walks into a bar and starts beating people up so he didn't left him much choice. I don't think Nick really acted out of self-defence, he attacked the guy who pulled the knife out of self-defense so it does make him kinda innocent. Nick tried to kill him too and he succeeded.
