What was your response when you found out Callie's and Arizona's backstory?

I thought it was a really interesting piece of information that they'll be processing the rest of the season. It explains a lot and it deepened Arizona's process and storyline because it explained more of where she was emotionally, mentally and physically when she met Lauren (Hilarie Burton).

Do you think that Arizona's miscarriage is partially responsible for her cheating?

I think about it all the time, but it is very interesting. One would assume so, but I'm not sure.

  1. I'm hoping that after Calzona reconcile, they decide to try again for another baby. The amputation combined with the miscarriage probably fucked Arizona up a lot.

  2. I still don't feel like throwing a miscarriage in there justifies it any more. If Callie had cheated after the car accident, would that have been okay? They still had a daughter together and Callie was nothing but supportive of Arizona. I loved last nights episode, but I still don't feel for Arizona any more when it comes to the cheating, especially given her attitude thus far this season.

  3. Of course the cheating's not justified at all, but it's understandable. Everything piled up on her and she fell apart. She's been really screwed up and I'm hoping she gets the help she clearly needs.

  4. Yea, I really wanted to see ARIZONA figure out some sort of help for herself before they tried to work it out. Instead she just jumped into bed with Leah. Clearly she isn't better, so trying now just seems moot to me. Callie deserves better. I personally would love to see her in a fresh, new, healthy relationship, but I know the Calizona ships are strong. Hopefully the writing can change my mind a little.
