Grey's Anatomy - Episode 10.13 - Casting Sides

Tara aka Naomi - Sam and Dr. Hall walk towards the elevators. As they arrive the doors open and out steps a woman, Tara (48), Dr. Hall’s patient and Craig’s estranged wife. She’s tough, she’s had a lot of bad luck but came through stronger. She’s stops dead in her tracks when she sees Sam, Craig’s son. Tara tells Sam he looks just like his father, Sam, extends his hand and introduces himself, Tara says it was like seeing a ghost for a second there. He points Tara down the hall. Tara asks if he suffered at the end. Sam says no, that he was pretty much out of it. They share a common hatred of Craig. ICU Corridor - Sam and Tara walk and talk. He asks about her not bringing Adam, she says 2 plane tickets are expensive and just weren’t in the cards. She’s only there for the watch. He can do whatever he wants with the rest of the stuff - dealer’s choice. Tara looks around. Something feels wrong. Sam leads her into a room and she sees Craig in bed, very much alive but asleep and plugged into machines. Tara asks what the hell, he’s not dead? Tells Sam he lied to her, he says yes, Tara’s shock turns to anger.

ICU Corridor - Sam and Tara are outside fighting. Dr. Hall watches from a distance. Tara says it can’t be legal to call someone and say “he’s dead” if its untrue. Sam says he IS dying. He’s in sepsis and his organs are failing. He has days at the most. And, he knows that she’s coming. Tara says so what? Asks if she is supposed to sit there and kiss away his tears. He was a total bastard. The watch belonged to her father. He pawned the other two then took her father’s watch and left. Sam tells her Craig is sick and its been hell. He thinks Tara is the only reason he’s hanging on and tells her not to bail on him now. Tara takes it in and goes into the room. Sam stays outside, thankful that it work. Tara comes back out with the watch. She shakes her head at Sam and tells him that she was with Craig for 5 years and she knows what it sounds like when he’s full of crap. Says that Sam is 100% his son then walks away.

Scrub Nurse - Night, scrub room. A scrub nurse enters the room and tells Dr. Hall that the chief is looking for him/her. Dr. Hall says “I’ll be right there”, the nurse nods and leaves.

Paramedic - Dr. Hall runs in with a paramedic from the breezeway with a bloody patient on a gurney. Paramedic says there was a MVC pileup down by the waterfront. Pedestrian hit by a car, looks like multiple fractures.
