Fingers crossed for Witches of East End
ReplyDeleteOUAT did not deserve that series low, it was the best episode they've done in more than a year IMO. Well, at least Revenge didn't adjust down. I actually think it didn't do too badly considering the hit that its lead-in took.
ReplyDeleteRevenge at least went back from its' series low, but OuaT...:(.
ReplyDeleteAgree about OUAT. The episode was definitely one of their best. It's such a shame the ratings were so low.
ReplyDeleteAnybody knows if the ratings of Witches of East End are any good with 0.5/1.62? I have no idea of Lifetime standards, and I really love this show!
ReplyDeleteWell you have to consider the severe weather going through a good portion of the mid-west. So all of the shows took a bit of a hit because of it.The ratings should go back up after the AMA's this weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt's been slipping in total viewers and in the demo week to week. If you understand nothing else, know that that is not good.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you're right :)
ReplyDeleteREVENGE is doing so GOOD!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for that!
So sad for OUAT!! :(
i'm pretty sure ouat will rebound because in some states it started at 8:23 and went up against almost human but ouat definitely has had one of its strongest episodes in the series. as for revenge i know that a 1.5 is nothing to be happy about but hey i will take a 1.5 over a 1.3 any day.
ReplyDeleteI really hope The Mentalist gets renewed for a 7th season.
ReplyDeleteOh that is sad thank you! I started catching up on the show 10 days ago so I hadn't checked past ratings!
ReplyDeleteI'm relieved that Revenge's number held. Also, while I aren't glad about OUaT's fall, at least it seems to indicate that Revenge isn't lead-in dependent - which is even more important now that it's going to have Resurrection, probably another DoA ABC show, airing before it.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what's up with Revenge's strange pattern, by the way. A few weeks ago it tied its series low. A week later it made an impressive recovery of going up four tenths (1.7), before dropping to a NEW series low - 1.2, half a point down! - and now it's risen to 1.5. Maybe it's really the kind of show where viewers tune in en masse if it looks like a good episode, and settle for DVRing if it doesn't.
I hope this at least indicates that Revenge is independent from its lead-in, because it's sure going to need that with ABC's brilliant new schedule.
ReplyDeleteYes, I also think the pattern is odd, as it's more than the normal 0.1-0.2 fluctuations. The 1-7-1.2 drop was particularly strange. Maybe it has to do with competition dynamics. There is so much going on Sundays at 9 everywhere else on TV that's hard to point out the effect. For instance, if The Goldbergs is way down Tuesday, you can probably see if New Girl spiked and you may find a correlation. Here there's just so much stuff to analyze whether or not they spiked that it gets almost impossible to isolate the effect. That 1.2 series low was very odd.
