Oh,Yay! Almost Human went up a tick... Sleepy Hollow is doing great!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCastle :(
ReplyDeleteDidn't expect Castle to adjust down four-tenths. Ouch
ReplyDeleteThis shows different ratings than tvbythenumbers Nielsen ratings which put castle at 2.3/6 share for 18-49 with 12 million viewers for yesterday monday Nov 18.????
ReplyDeleteThese are the final adjusted ratings. Those were the preliminary ratings.
ReplyDeleteA little less bad for AH!
ReplyDelete10.93 million is nothing to sneeze at why are you upset?
ReplyDeleteWish it would have been a bit higher still, but does anything to that great against The Voice??
ReplyDeleteIKR?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteYep,i was hoping it would be higher but Dancing with the Stars even tho its losing steam still has monster ratings! I don't watch the Voice and i haven't been keeping track of how its doing at 8 pm.Honestly,i thought something else was on at that time.. :P
ReplyDeleteHa! I don't watch the voice either, but it seems like it's successful, because somehow it's still on!XD
ReplyDeleteand it is a 10 pm show
ReplyDeleteYeah But something to keep in mind is that I heard several stations didn't play Castle last night due to football. Could explain it maybe....even though the amount of viewers is about the same...IDK just a theory
ReplyDeleteYay for Almost Human going up, even if it was only by a .1 rating. Better than before at least.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Almost Human was up against a recap of The Voice tonight, I'm holding my breath for when they go up against a live The Voice next week which pulls even bigger demo numbers. :(
ReplyDeleteYay, Almost Human adjusted up!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know, but I thought (hoped?) that it would be adjusted down three-tenths or less.
ReplyDeleteNot only Castle was preempted in 2 big markets (Boston and Charlotte), they were up against The Voice (wich always gets big demos), so 1.9 is not that bad, imo. I sure wish that such a great episode could have a better demo, tough:(
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the number of total viewers means next to nothing. What constitutes success (or failure) for a show is its audience in the 18-49 age demo, because advertisers are interested - and pay for - that particular group. And since Castle suffered a significant drop of four tenths, its fans have a good reason to be upset. (Mind you, I don't see a chance in hell that Castle doesn't come back next season, but everyone wants to their shows to do well.)
ReplyDeleteYeah, thanks i know how it works.Yesterday they have 18-49 for Castle at 2.3 - 12.02 mil or something like that.It still did great even if it dropped. One week isn't going to kill the show.
ReplyDeleteThank you for always including our little show just plugging along there. Love Beauty and the Beast and hope it hangs in there!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I wish all the of the song and dance numbers would have to go up against each other instead. it seems so unfair to scripted dramas, sigh.
ReplyDeleteOh I know, I wasn't saying that it's gonna kill the show (like I said, it's all but guaranteed a renewal), just that I get why fans are bummed about the ratings because the number that matters was significantly adjusted down.
ReplyDeleteI was hopping a 2 .0 :)
ReplyDeleteI do understand when the show you like and care about doesn't do as well as one hopes,or one see it starting to drop... :)
ReplyDeleteFeel free to blame my country for coming up with the concept. ;)
