I would actually say that even if it remains where it is, it will get its renewal. The NBC dramas apart from the voice lead-outs are performing at 1.2-1.5. This one has the friday factor on its side and, presumably, very significant cost advantages too since it's an international co-production, which is what I believe saved Hannibal last year at a lower ratings level (and not on a Friday)
I could actually see a scenario in which Blue Bloods goes and The Good Wife gets another season. The Good Wife has that ridiculously high syndication deal so unless Blue Bloods gets a similarly attractive one, it could be in worst shape than it looked at the beginning of the season. Besides, I think CBS would much rather replace one Friday show and one Sunday show than both shows at the same time. It will be interesting to see what happens.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
not sure if that's good for Dracula i suck at ratings (and no i aint making a joke lol)

ReplyDeleteAlso, though it hardly matters, TGW has created more buzz than BB.
ReplyDeleteWell yeah, as you've said, I don't think that's a factor per se, although it could influence the ratings they both get until the end of the year.
