Family Guy fans have started a petition to bring back fan favourite Brian, who was killed off last night.

The petition has gathered more than 1,700 signatures so far.

    Definitely, not sure I will keep watching with that other dog. The chemistry between Brian and Stewie was a major reason I'm still watching this show.

    I haven't watched it in years but Brian was by far the best thing about the show, when I heard he had been killed off I was kind of stunned they would do that to probably the most popular character

    There´s an episode called Grimm Job, probably in allusion to The Italian Job, trying to bring Brian back from the dead.

    Apparently some of the titles for the rest of season have Brian in the titles (like Brian meeting the new dog), so I'm guessing he will be back.
