Well, to be fair, we don't know that. They could always take cases from the private sector while operating as informants for Gregson and Bell. It could be a two or three ep arc and then they're reinstated, etc.
There can be tension even if you how an outcome. But yeah, in a four member cast the termination and death thing will always seem a bit unlikely, lol
No, I think you're right. If I'm reading the anvils correctly, I think Joan is either going to leave or become in deep, dark peril soon. Sherlock is getting reckless. I think it's Moriarty's letter(s).
i hate these episode... man i know you aint gonna terminate them, cuz if u did no more show, and if they did terminate them, they can move on with private cases, and most likely be called back few episode later and a crazy case appears, so yea this type of episode just bugs me.
Glad to hear that you think the same about the Holmes/Watson partnership. I really thought that I was being paranoid. The signs are there, and I really think that Joan will walk away because of Sherlock's reckless behavior . It's just a matter of when.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
This looks like a good episode. Still a long wait for this.
ReplyDeleteEpisodes like this always a bit flat because we KNOW they won't be terminated. There's no tension.
ReplyDeleteno doubt Sherlock or Watson will get terminated......but I guess it nice to show some of Sherlock's flaws......

ReplyDeleteAlso, stumbled across a tidbit elsewhere that might play into that. If you want to message me through FB I'll elaborate.

could Moriarty be the one pulling the string to terminate Holmes/Watson partnership and the NYPD consultant? or Mycroft?
ReplyDeleteMy money is on Mycroft... He wanted Sherlock out of NY
