  11. Grinning like an idiot, so awesome!!!! The episode is going to be epic if this is only a sneak peek. Just how I imagined they would be. Kate looks so happy :-)

  12. LOL! OMG I'm dying! Beckett is so awkward with the baby, its so adorable! XD

  13. OK, I can do this. I am a paragon of self-control. I can absolutely make it through this two minute clip without grinning like a happy idiot or dying of the awesomeness that is Castle and Beckett handling a baby. Here I go!
    ...

    *Two minutes later*
    ...
No, I failed. I failed miserably. Within the first 40 seconds, in fact. As soon as Beckett smiled like that, I was done. I spent the remaining 1:20 in a kind of blissful fog. There may or may not have been some giggling - which is weird because I don't giggle. How odd. Anyway ...

To atone for my failure, I sentence myself to watching this clip again and again until I can watch it without breaking. A harsh punishment, but I will soldier through it. Somehow.

  14. wow just as i pictured it would be! I am sure by the end Kate will be really protective of the baby and not wanna get it back. I wonder if Ryan and Jenny will have their baby this episode, usually all the themes relate.

  15. So Kate obviously never had a job babysitting when she was in high school! This is way better than sharing custody of a dog.

  16. If my memory, serves me right Kate was busy modeling and playing tennis lol

  17. Oh my! How cute and adorable! That team work = a surgeon and a nurse in operation room:)
On another note...I had to check the calendar to be sure I have to go to work tomorrow - a sneak peek on wednesday, not friday?! Odd, lol:)

  18. Not sure what the show's timeline is right now, but I think Ryan said in "Valkyrie" their due date was in 4 months. To me, that points to February sweeps. A funny thing about pregnancy timing and sweeps - November follows roughly nine months from February, February follows roughly nine months from May, and May follows roughly nine months from September.

  19. She does have a spark in her look in the last scenes when she is watching Castle change the diaper and put the clean onesie. Very well acted by Stana, Beckett looks really happy, in love and positive (regarding her future) in this scene and that based on a well acted look and smile.

  20. that baby's so cute! and so are the 2 people taking care of him! <3

  21. The timeline has been jacked up by the show's producers. If pregnancy happened in March (third month) and Ryan says it was four months till the baby was born July -- since we know that Valkyrie/Dreamworld happened in July then the baby would be born in November. But then we get that silly time travel ep and Castle saying that Pi's been at the loft for a month... ugh. Need to Know was in October because of the graphic from the TV news thing. So who knows when the kid will be born.

  22. Geez. Nathan Fillion is damn fine in that scene. I think I'll be the only one in the fandom going nuts over hot Nathan with a baby. Lol.

  23. No they won't. It's been said by AM that they'll have the baby in the second part of the season. JD is currently filming right now on Castle and I think they are filming ether ep 12 or 13.

  24. love Kate's face when over looking at Castle changing the diaper!

  25. Cant stop watching ... Help Me!!!!! I'm slowly being driven insane by their cuteness and all the possibilities for the rest of the episode. I have never wanted a weekend to come and go as much as I do right now.

  26. This preview is so adorable. I cant stop smiling. And that baby, OMG could he be more adorable. I cant wait until Monday :D

  27. Looks like Rick was a bit rusty but they got in the groove fairly quickly when they worked together.

  28. they´re using two diferent kids :(

    ReplyDelete
  29. Thats unfortunately how it goes. there are laws against how long a child of that age can be in front of the cameras and lights etc. Also why its quite obvious when they are holding a doll instead. I don't really how it looks, as long as the scenes are all as cute as this.

  30. Yeah, they aren't usually very clear on the timelines during Castle. We were on summer break, but Sept picked up minutes after May...but then she takes off for DC and we skipped 3 months, right? But after that, I'd have to pay more attention to the Pi scenes to see how many more months passed before they moved out...2? Eh, as long as the kid doesn't become a teen next season and have all its own problems like on soap operas. I know babies that were born on Days of Our Lives about 10 years ago are now in their 20s and having their own kids. Yet their parents haven't really aged unusually. lol

  31. Yeah, I know, but these two are very different

    ReplyDelete
  32. A clueless Beckett is hilarious, extremely funny and Castles' baby changing skills are unmatched universally. Do you realize how many parents would die to be able to snap open a diaper open the way he did!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Oh Gosh!!! That's a baby, Beckett not a bomb! Hahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  34. Both babies might be "cases" but with the predictions of "Time Will Tell", the way Castle is so natural and the very real fact that one of these could be hers, she's very reluctant to become even the least bit attached so she's trying to remain detached.

It doesn't has any sense except in the verse where characters are pushed and pulled acording to the daily plot. If a woman has the sense to handle and hold a child, she would NEVER do it in a bad way just to "remain detached" - maternal instinct, you know. Except of course is she wants to demonstrate that she would prefer a live grenade to holding that "thing". I hope the writers don't want to suggest that Beckett is in this state of mind where she feels important to demonstrate her detachment to Castle on the account of a baby. Selfish, egocentric - I hope these aren't what we sould see her. Sorry to me characters are working as a whole, not according to the demands of the fun of the week.

I'm a bit sad that for the sake of joke they have forgotten that Beckett knows how to handle a little kid. In 1x09, the kidnapping episode, when they found the little boy she picked him up perfectly and without any hesitation about how to keep a child. I know, continuity was never the strong part of the show, I just don't like when they trade the characters for cheap slapstick.
