TVLine has learned exclusively that an early 2014 episode of the Friday-bound Fox dramedy will mark the return of the man, the myth, the menace… Pelant!
No joke.
Despite having been killed off last month, the Big Bad — once again played by Andrew Leeds — will resurface for at least one episode.
Don’t worry. He’s still dead. (We think.)
“He’ll be back in the flesh,” confirms exec producer Stephen Nathan, “but somewhat ethereal in the show.”

They just don't seem to get the message: We are tired of Pelant. A lot of us don't give a shit about Pelant, he overstayed his welcome by a lot. Stop finding ways to bring him back.
ReplyDeleteUgh, no thanks. I thought we were rid of him for good.
ReplyDeleteThis exactly!
ReplyDeletePelant was tied up in the new big bad...I suspect it'll be more of a flashback than anything. Also, there is the alarm clock to address
ReplyDeleteI thought for a second they were bringing back a beloved character from the show's past. Not Pelant. I can't stand that bastard even though he'll only coming back for what sounds like a fantasy sequence.
ReplyDeleteAhh, this must be the "we're getting shipped off to Friday nights, may as well cross all the lines" style of showrunning.
ReplyDeletePlease get over this Pelant stuff! He has never been deep and well-written villain... The show deserves better big villains...
ReplyDeleteOh please no more Pelant!! Not alive, dead,in fantasyland or flashback.
ReplyDeleteDamn it, writers!!!
ReplyDeletewhat is this bull shit
ReplyDeleteHe'll come back but n flashback or something like that right? Ugh I Just don't get why the the writers love Pelant that much. I mean he's not like the gravedigger & agree with @sahmeran.. He is not well written villain. why are they doing this?
ReplyDeletewasn't the alarm clock linked to Pelant knowing that . B&B were talking about the set up in their bed, and ergo, if they felt comfortable enough to talk about then, did they previously talk about it in their bedroom? His appearance will probs be linked to the 'new' killer, he taunted Brennan with...
ReplyDeletewas anybody else expecting zack and then their hopes gave up or is it just me
ReplyDeleteI rather have a cult like serial killer, who is not out for personal vengeance but pure evil behavior.
ReplyDeleteNo, just no. I don't want "God'' to return.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a good idea because we never solved the whole clock thing and him coming in a fantasy will add suspense and make the story of the new killer more interesting
ReplyDeletei totally agree wid u... der wer lots of loose ends regarding pelant n even though his story or rather his reign of terror continued for a long time, the storyline was terminated too fast to allow for closure..i tink they will show that brennan feels obsessed with finding this ghost killer, n in a way she feels responsible for this new killer coz pelant offered her help n den she told booth to kill him. she doesnt regret killing pelant but she does regret that he's dead n now she'll never know wat he knows abt d new killer. in a way, pelant will come back to taunt her...i dont know...lets c wat d writers do...i have faith theyll do sumting good. since d wedding, i hav absolutely luvd season 9.
