    I don't see how that matters. Any breakup, fake or otherwise, would be for public show and not for Moira.

    What I'm saying is that if Thea takes Roy to see Moira *after* this conversation then she didn't break up with him. The prison is a public place and there are enough gossip reporters that would report about Thea taking her troubled boyfriend to prison to see her mother, which would create exactly the kind of publicity Moira's lawyer is trying to avoid right now.

    It would likely mean she didn't break up with him yet. Any breakup that happens will likely take place at the end of the episode.
