American Horror Story - Episode 3.08 - The Sacred Taking - Synopsis

As Queenie decides her loyalties and delivers a warning, Fiona struggles against her ailing health and tries to figure out which of the girls the next Supreme might be. As Cordelia rallies the girls in the fight to stop Fiona, a panicked Misty Day arrives at the Academy, hunted by a dangerous but unknown new enemy... and accompanied by an unexpected ally. Convinced they've identified the next Supreme, Cordelia leads the girls in a rarely-performed ritual known as The Sacred Taking, which allows for the next Supreme's ascension. The only hitch: it involves the selfless suicide of the current Supreme. And so a plan is hatched to convince Fiona to give up hope. Back at Cornrow Alley, the rivalry between Marie Laveau and Madame LaLaurie comes to a head as Marie enacts her horrible vengeance. Meanwhile, Joan punishes Luke severely for his involvement with the girls, and Nan tries to come to his rescue, but the intervention of another party leads to tragedy. As alliances shift and a love triangle forms, the Coven becomes aware of a new danger.
