So episode 9 is Revenge's midseason finale, like last year? As much as I'd be going crazy during a break, I think it was a wise decision to go for a long midseason break this time around, instead of 1000000 small breaks that drive the audience crazy and lose the show viewers. Of course, there's also the issue of avoiding awards season.
In an ideal world, ABC would take advantage of this break to move Revenge to Thursday at 10pm while moving GA and Scandal an hour earlier, thereby getting Revenge away from the deadly combo of football and TWD, giving it a powerful lead-in and hopefully allowing it to make a recovery. The break would give them enough time to advertise the move. Unfortunately, they seem determined to stick to passivity and do nothing to help their struggling shows. Their insistence to premiere so many new shows in the Thursday 8pm slot and then quickly have to cancel them is an indication of that.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I hate when they don't air my TV shows every week :(
