CBS announced today programming changes for the Monday night lineup, beginning next week.
Effective Oct. 14, 2 BROKE GIRLS moves to 8:30 PM, replacing "We Are Men," which is no longer on the schedule. Rebroadcasts of THE BIG BANG THEORY will air at 9:00 PM for the next two weeks.
MIKE & MOLLY returns to the schedule with its fourth season premiere, Monday, Nov. 4 (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT).
MIKE & MOLLY stars Billy Gardell, Melissa McCarthy, Reno Wilson, Katy Mixon, Swoosie Kurtz, Nyambi Nyambi, Louis Mustillo, Cleo King, Rondi Reed and David Higgins. Chuck Lorre and Al Higgins are executive producers for Bonanza Productions in association with Chuck Lorre Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
In the first two weeks of the 2013-2014 season, CBS is once again "America's Most Watched Network," sustaining its viewer, adult 18-49 and adult 25-54 averages versus the comparable weeks last year.

Yay for Mike and Molly coming back in November!
ReplyDeleteSorry to the We Are Men fans.
Didn't see that one coming....
ReplyDeleteThis isn't very suprising. This show was very funny. Too bad people don't want to give it a chance to see if it works out.
ReplyDeleteWell scratch that one off the list. I actually thought it was funnier than the promos made it sound, but it does give me a bit more wiggle room in my TV schedule.
ReplyDeleteYay for Mike & Molly!!!
ReplyDelete*does happy dance* WOO-HOO!!!!!!! So happy that Mike & Molly is coming back!
ReplyDeleteNow, CBS, about that scene that was cut from the finale...
Look at it this way: The more of these shows I eat, the higher the chance is I'll be too fat to catch the shows you like.
ReplyDeleteThe only surprise is that 2BG repeats will take over and not TBBT repeats. Why?! They boosted the entire night last year when they replaced partners. Also, I think it should be MM at 9h30 and Mom at 8h30 to get advantage of HIMY since 2BG is too weak right now
ReplyDeleteActually, it's not 2 Broke Girls repeats - it's new 2 Broke Girl episodes.
ReplyDeleteNo, the new schedules is
ReplyDelete8:00 HIMYM final season
8:30 2 Broke Girls
9:00 Big Bang Theory repeats for two weeks, then Mike & Molly
9:30 Mom
I think they're mainly sliding 2BG to 8:30 to shore up Mom with TBBT repeats.

I didn't see it. So they made Mike and Molly the anchor?! Wow that's bold. I think they are over-estimating the show, I don't see it being that much stronger than 2 Broke Girls. Then again, having 2 Broke Girls itself as a lead-in will certainly help
ReplyDeleteDidn't know, thanks
ReplyDeleteWhat fans, lol
ReplyDeleteI was being nice in case there were any! LOL
ReplyDeleteHow many manchilds could you fit a tv-screen at once-show?
ReplyDeleteStay away from Trophy Wife for at least the season bear, or I'll come hunting you.
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for this. God this show was beyond awful.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing the Super Clyde pilot, I am really sad that CBS picked up this piece of crap instead.
I hate that they just randomly move 2 Broke Girls to a new timeslot just days before a new episode. Either they are so confident of a 4th season renewal for syndication it doesn't really matter how many people tune in, or they hope to God that everyone is online to read this. Either way, quick moving decisions like this - not a fan...
ReplyDeleteIt's a good decision to move 2 Broke Girls back after HIMYM. They'll probably air promos showing the new time slot.
ReplyDelete2 down and several more to go oh well at least Mike and Molly are coming back soon!!!!!! Yay!!!!
ReplyDeleteI did watch the pilot and I thought it was beyond awful.
ReplyDelete2 Broke Girls at 8:30 is what needed to be done. In its first season it always did well after HIMYM, and now it will be able to grab some of HIMYM'S rating while passing it down to Mike and Molly (which has always retained well 2BG ratings) and maybe help Mom in the way. It's like a domino effect
ReplyDelete"We are Men" kinda disturbed me due to the excess of neck tendons in the promo material....
ReplyDeleteHA! Yay good for Mike and Molly
ReplyDeleteCan 'Dads' be next please?
ReplyDeleteWe are not suprised!
ReplyDeleteall I can say is YAYAYAYAY !!!! that is the best news I have heard all day :-)
ReplyDeleteCBS has really high standards.
ReplyDeleteI'm willing to bet that the repeats of Big Bang Theory will beat out everything else in that time period and get a better rating than 2BG, HIMYM, and Mom
ReplyDeleteWHOOP FINALLY MIKE & MOLLY!
