    To be honest only Orphan Black and Bates Motel are good out of the shows from the list (not counting new shows that haven't aired yet) so I voted on them.

    House of Cards will because of its significant contribution to moving Hollywood and the television industry into the digital age. It's also a fantastic show and its Emmy nominations prove this

    Maybe Sleepy Hollow and The Crazy Ones because they had good Ratings for this Season... and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but i don't see more that 3 o 4 seasons to the show.

    Under the Dome and The Blacklist both have very unique concepts unmatched by anything else on television, so despite people maybe wanting UTD to end, it's making ratings history in the summer and possibly marking broadcast network's official launch into summer programming. House of Cards is Netflix, and their formula for releasing all episodes in a season at the same time to let the customers decide is groundbreaking, and it attracts a lot of viewers. I personally believe these three shows have what it takes for their names to be remembered far, far into the future.

    To be fair, an Emmy win or an Emmy nomination does not prove whether a show is fantastic or not. We want to think that the awards handed out are facts, but it really isn't. It gives a clear indication that something in the making of the series was done in an outstanding way that a lot of people like, which is what the award celebrates, but ultimately, it's up to people's own perception of it whether they value the award or not. What I mean by that is, to some degree, the awards are used for promoting ("we won 5 Emmy's for our work, watch our show"), but it is also used to give people proper credit. If I'm a director, it's an honor to get an award for it, so it's to celebrate the work, but it is still different by people's opinions whether I actually did a good job or not.

    I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but awards are really losing their value. Did you see the Nobel Peace Prize for the United Nations? Huge level of criticism, and people lose their faith in the committee when they disagree that strongly with their choices. So yeah, it's not facts, but influenced by people's opinions.

    A single Emmy win or nomination mightn't mean a show is fantastic, but when you get 9 Emmy nominations and one win, I call that a pretty remarkable effort, and proof that House of Cards is a fantastic, groundbreaking series

    Bates Motel, The Blacklist, Sleepy Hollow, The Bridge, and Orphan Black. If the writers/producers don't screw - up these series will definitely run 5 seasons (minimum) as well as stand the test of time IMHO. 4 A SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE, I am Nobody!!!

    From the shows I see, I think it can be SHIELD, Blacklist, Orphan Black or Under the Dome..
    From the shows I don't its probably Sleepy Hollow, Tomorrow People, Bates Motel..

    On The List: Agents of Shield


    Hard to predict for Almost Human - it hasn't aired yet. Though for that type of show I don't think it'll become a classic.


    Off The List: What about Sleepy Hollow? I think Sleepy Hollow is definitely possible.

    Where's Hannibal on that list? The show's got a crazy fanbase, it's critically acclaimed and a cult hit, I definitely think it'll end up being a classis (and hope it runs for multiple seasons).


    Vikings- I'm not sure how many seasons it could have, but it's breaking ground on The History Channel, as is 'Orphan Black' on BBC America and both have great fanbases and the reaction to them was great.

    I don't watch 'House of Cards', but it's definitely breaking ground for web shows, so kudos. Don't know if it'll become a classic or not, or how many seasons it'll have.

    Those are the only standouts for me right now, the others I either don't watch or need to see more, before I decide.

    Honestly, none of these scream multi-season hit series from me.... yet.


    I went into the season thinking The Blacklist had the most potential and stand by that notion. The problem is I'm not sure how the dynamic of the show will play over time.


    Sleepy Hollow is a show I thought would be solid, but not this well received honestly. At its current rate I think it could run for a few seasons and be a classic. Sadly, I can also see it backsliding and being cancelled after 2 years.


    I simply do not understand Under the Dome's success. I found it predictable and mediocre when at its best. Add to that some truly terrible performances by the younger actors and I struggled to make through even Season 1!


    Many shows like The Bridge and Broadchurch I just do not see running for extended seasons despite their high quality.


    I think the biggest surprise to me is Orphan Black though!
    Not only is it one of the most critically loved shows, but fans are passionate about it. The shorter season of cable TV lends itself to tightly written arcs that have punch (if done correctly), and that could mean lasting for multiple years if the quality keeps up.

    Actually, half of the shows have already been renewed for a second season and a few have had their back nine orders too. Only a small handful of the listed series have a chance of being cancelled this season.

    I am hoping that Masters of Sex will become the new Mad Men, but it is too soon to tell. My favorite new show so far.

    I have not watched it yet though. I've been archiving episodes to watch over the holiday season when many shows do not show new episodes.

    I'm really surprised more people haven't checked out Broadchurch. This UK murder-mystery stars David Tennant from Doctor Who. Broadchurch is powerfully emotional, tense, and deeply moving. Right from the first episode it has all the signs of a major cult hit.

    Do you think Broadchurch will go on for multiple seasons?


    I can see it as a classic in the like of State of Play (UK mini-series not the movie) or The Red Riding Trilogy... Just not as a multi-season drama.

    Vikings, because I believe that this will be the start of multiple history based shows which take history a little bit more seriously and take their time to present ancient cultures as faithfully as possible. Yes, I know, there has been other history based shows before, but this one sets a new standard.

    Saw this poll just now, but I still have to vote :) I only chose Orphan Black, because I honestly think I faced this year one of the greatest seasons I have ever seen. Very short, yet very well written, very addictive and very complicated.
