  1. I loved Anna. I think she was a great female character and it's sad that she got so much hate. I thought her storyline was really interested and it angered me that the writers screwed her over and gave her the end that she got.
I also miss Missouri. I think she was amazing. I also voted for Ellen and Charlie. But Jessica would be cool to see back again - and Jody! I liked Jo a lot, but I think she had a worthy ending.
Bela would be super cool to see back, imagine her as a demon? Wow!!!

  2. Jo and Ellen - horribly underused and killed off too soon.
Mary - great whenever she appears.
Sarah - one of Sam's better love interests.
I also liked Ruby 1.0 (not the other one, shudder), Jody, and Lisa in her first appearance. And Jamie (4x05) was lovely and had great chemistry with Dean.

Gotta go with Meg. For a recurring character she had a nice evolutionary storyline and it helped they could just bring her back as any actress. Liked the last one the best... especially how she delivered the line "We're going to heaven, Clarence."

  5. Jo, Meg, Anna and Mary in that order, but I also liked Katie's Ruby & Missouri. I see Sam "girl" is not on the list...GOOD. lol

  6. I loved that Meg she had super chemistry with Cas...her little tree topper.

  7. Mary Winchester, Bela Talbot and Eve.

Bela was a refreshing change from a female character on the show being either the damsel-in-distress/love interest or evil. Her moral ambiguity was what made me really like her. Since we were not shown her death onscreen, I think the writers can easily bring her back given how much "tweaking" they have done over the past three seasons.

Eve was one of the most underutilized "Big Bad" (although I don't know if she can really be called bad since all she was doing was trying to protect her children). She had so much potential when she was introduced, but then they just went and offed her to set Castiel as the main antagonist of the season.

  8. Jo, Ruby (the original Ruby) and also Cassie, although she's not on the list.

  9. Jody and Charlie are back this season so voting them would be pointless.
Any of these would be great - Meg 1.0, Ruby 2.0, Sarah, Jess, Missouri

  10. Jody Mills will be in episode 8 of this season, that is confirmed.

  11. I thought the actress who played Meg 2.0 was really avaerage in the role, but regardless I thought Meg 2.0 was really pointless as a character and in the end she had a pretty good ending so I dont see the point in bringing her back.

  12. Meg, Sarah, Bela and Naomi

  13. Of the dead girls, none.

If the writers thought they were doing the right thing killing them off, then they should just have to abide by their decisions.

As for the others, definitely Jody!

Not a fan of Charlie and though I liked Lisa's, her story-line is a bit out of the game now. However, I wouldn't mind a cameo from Missouri as she gets a glimpse of the cute all grown-up Winchesters and gets to hear all thier adventures, or maybe she tells them; psychic and all! :)

As for Becky, no; even though she did become a little bit more sypathetic to me in s7.

  14. Jo, Meg, Bela and Cassidy's Ruby! :D

  15. Jo or Bela!

  16. Meg, Ruby, Bela, Jo, and Ellen!
I love the SPN female characters

  17. I didn't vote for any women we've seen recently as they are still recurring. I almost voted for Meg but if Rachel's not in the role I'm not sure I'd want to see her again (Rachel has MS so that might be one of the reasons Meg was written out).

Ellen - loved her, thought it was dumb to kill her off.

Mary - I'd be fascinated to see her alive and see how Dean and Sam deal with this, especially if she's not revealed as a clone or secretly evil.

Sarah - I loved her so much. The show killing her will always be a black mark.

Other - I thought Kathleen Hudak from "The Benders" was a fantastic character. I'd be happy to see her again. I also loved Pamela Barnes! Bring her back!!

  18. Cassie. Rubbish episode but I kind of liked her.

  19. Meg, beyond a doubt...Rachel Miner. Loved her.

  20. Jody is badass, I'm glad she'll be back this season. Meg was awesome, but I don't want her to come back as "Meg 3.0" if the actress who played her is unavailable. The show needs strong female characters who are on the Winchesters side, and who aren't also used as comedic relief.

  21. Didn't Missouri get a lot of hate for some reason back in the day? I thought she was great, although it might be pointless to bring her back now.. I'd like to see her appear out of nowhere to tell the guys what to do, like Yoda or something, haha.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yes she did and I never could figure out why..I thought she was great.

  23. I think the fact that Jo and Ellen were killed off so soon made them more badass, and more realistic. Their death is actually one of the few scenes (on any series) that brings me to tears. Having said that, we definitely need more characters like them!

  24. Hi. Yeah, some people don't seem to like her but i felt she was okay. She certainly was no worse than a lot of other characters that have passed through the brothers' lives.
    X

Well they brought back poor Sarah, from way ago, just to kill her off, so why not a cameo with Missouri? The brothers could head back to Lawrence for a case, and they could look her up. I like your idea of the Yoda thing too!

At least it wouldn''t be trashing canon to see her again. :) :)

  25. I agree. Girls used for comic relief or thrown in to be the bimbo of the week, are boring.
    X

We need women whom we can come to care and root for.

I loved Ellen. She was one tough lady yet could be gentle and amusing too.

I always loved that scene in the car, where she sits in the passenger seat of the Impala after getting Jo back and chills the temperature down to zero!
Then the scenes in the Titanic episode when she was married to Bobby were so sweet. I wish that had really happened. Instead of killing them both off TPTB could have made them a couple. :)

  26. Some fans didn't like her because they felt she was too rude to Dean.

I liked her but I thought the writing for her was poor.

  27. I love Charlie because she funny and the actress that played her is one of my favorite actress she be great in the spin off this show or get a show of her own

    ReplyDelete
  28. Meg, Jo, and Ellen for sure... after that, I like Anna (didn't care for the way her character was developed) and Jody - but it wouldn't be the same to have Jody without Bobby

  29. Haven't we had some version of this poll multiple times in the past year? Each time I'm surprised at how unpopular Anna is. Ruby #1 is my top choice. Ruby #2 really was awful and dragged down the otherwise amazing season 4.

  30. Love her too (both character and actress), I don't get the hate and the ''she's way too much 'Look how nerdy i am i'm so cool for that' '', I never saw Charlie acting like that. Codex or Holly were more like that, but we never saw Charlie talking to the boys about gaming and stuff out of nowhere just to act cool or whatever. They had one Harry Potter conversation cause Sam started it, her next episode they just worked the case (who happened to be in the Larpiing), she didn't try to act cool cause she was ''a cool nerdy girl''. The only time she played games with the boys is the LARP battle which was Dean's idea.

She just loves games and litteratures, but she's not define by it.

  31. Ellen and Jo definitely my #1's . I can't watch that episode of them being killed off without bawling my eyes out! They were killed off way to soon. I love Charlie and am always happy to see her. I loved Pamela the psychic! I thought she was great & liked the way she flirted with Dean!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I get what you mean, but if we had seen more of them in Season 5 before their deaths (apart from it being great because I love them), it would have hit even harder. Also, while the last scene between Dean and Jo was beautiful and emotionally wrecking, it came a little out of nowhere because they didn't see each other for so long after 2x14. and then they only exchanged like two words in 5x02. They barely even developed the friendship between the characters enough to give context to Jo putting herself in harm's way - and ultimately getting killed - to help Dean.

  33. I have to disagree with the notion that Bela was morally ambiguous. She would have been really interesting if she was. Instead, she was a horrible person who'd pretty much set anyone up to get killed if it made her a few bucks. For some reason, Sam and Dean treated her as a minor nuisance instead of a serious threat, and that plus the flirtation with Dean was supposed to make her seem less evil. It didn't.
She was made much more interesting in her last episode, giving her potential - but they DID kill her off, and her exit was brilliant (loved that whole phone conversation with Dean before she stands up to literally face her fate, and the hellhound pounces). That alone makes me think she shouldn't be brought back. Although, I stopped watching SPN years ago so it doesn't actually matter to me.

  34. What a tricky poll. Couple of the characters had more than one actress and that made a huge difference. Blond meg=awesome. Mousy meg=horrible. So kinda hard to say.

  35. Ellen, Jo, and Charlie!

  36. Any one who is rude to Dean gets hate in fandom. That's why everyone hates me.
