Tomorrow People - 1.01 - Pilot - Best Scene Poll

Oct 12, 2013

As this is the first Tomorrow People best scene poll, here are the basics. Polls will be posted on either Thursday or Friday. There will be 8-12 voting options and the last one will always be Other. If your favorite scene is not a choice, please choose Other and then put your favorite in the comments. It's a great way to start a conversation and chances are that scene was originally in the poll before I had to narrow the choices. Happy voting!

  1. I debated between John's subway fighting and Stephen stopping the bullet, since I prefer action scenes. In the end I went with the subway because I have a feeling the other one will be very popular.

  2. anyone else thinking that john and stephen are cousins?

  3. That's what I tweeted. It would make Jedikiah even more evil and the forthcoming love triangle even more lame though. Kind of hope they are not.

  4. Wow, am I the only one who voted for Jed and Stephen's first scene? Huh...Although I did consider Stephen stopping the bullet so I guess I'm on that band wagon.
I just really love Mark Pellegrino. He's soooo fantastic and I loved him in Supernatural so I guess I'm bais.
Either which way I'm liking the show and look forward to next week's!

  5. I'm with you guys on this. I totally got the feeling that John is Jed's son (whether he knows it or not...) but I'm kinda hoping they aren't because I think that would cause WAY too much drama in an already-impending love triangle. Let's hope the writers know what they're doing!

  6. That thought did come to my mind, but I don't think I father would try to kill/hunt down his own son, unless he doesn't know that he is John's father

  7. I think i would like Mark Pellegrino more if he didn't always play the same character, evil personified.

  8. I think the fact that they think a love triangle is a good plan makes that questionable. Still they've set up interesting characters and maybe the love triangle will go away quickly.

  9. I am 99.99% sure he tried to car bomb his own brother so I don't know if shooting his son is such a stretch for this character. Also since he already had John in custody at Ultra, he surely would know John were his son or not. I'm sure he gene mapped him and compared that to his brother's genes.

  10. Well seeing as this is only the third thing I've really seen him in (he wasn't such a horrible person in Revolution) I don't have enough experience watching him to make this determination for myself. But so far yes, I think he does tend to play a bad guy a lot, but at least he's one of those fun bad guys with a sense of humor and sass.

  11. I loved this show, I loved that first scene where Stephen wakes up in the Neighbor's bed.

  12. If Stephen was so powerful like John said he was. He could have teleported away before the bomb explosion hit him.

  13. That's exactly what I think happened. No way is Stephen's dad dead.

  14. That scene was in the original list of choices, but since it couldn't be longer than 12 options, I ended up cutting it.

  15. I don't think they're cousins though but you know John did work at Ultra and maybe Jedikaiah was a father figure to him until he made John into what he was but we'll find out his backstory in episode 4.

  16. That is too bad. I thought it was quite telling what was occurring to Stephen.
