The Walking Dead has tapped Michael Cudlitz to join the Season 4 cast in the pivotal comic book role of Sgt. Abraham Ford, TVLine has learned exclusively.

    Abraham :D Don't know the actor (I don't think) but excited to see the character on the tv show.

    I'll withhold judgment until I see him in the role, but he isn't the person I would've pictured as Abraham. Although the picture looks spot on.

    Another character from the comics who will be treat like crap. Welcome Abraham, I hope they won't do with you what they did to Andrea (one of the best and beloved comic characters).

    PS: I'm not watch the show anymore, but I read "comic book character" and I couldn't control myself of enter here, fool of me.

    I admit I would've preferred him to have been a lot more muscular, but at the end of the day, it's the both the actors performance and the intrigue of the character that matters more than anything. I have utmost faith in Gimple.

    Funny cause I was wracking my brain with possible people who could play him and Cudlitz was on my list. Excited one of my faves will be included. Just hope they don't screw him like they screwed Andrea.

    I think he will make a great Abraham. I know it is a long way off but I really hope we get to see Abraham, Rick, Michonne, Eugene fighting off the massive herd in the Safe zone. Loved that part of the comics!

    I never watched Southland, but I do remember him in Grosse Point Blank getting drunk and reading some poetry :)
