    S M-G was promoted to a series regular before season 4. So maybe Sasha will be the first one who survives the infection.

    Exactly . What would've been the point of Karen's death if he was just gonna lose Sasha anyway? I would've thought Karen being the victim would mean Dasha was safe ,

    Actually you could be right, it might not be him, Looking at the episode again, there was another 'doctor' when the group were looking over the bodies and he was explaining the soda pop can theory of the blood.
