The 2nd Episode of Season 4 of The Walking Dead scored a 7.1 in 18-49 and 13.9 Million Viewsers.

  1. They shouldn't go by traditional ratings anymore. Alot of people watch it online. More and more people are giving up regular tv and streaming everything to pc now.

  2. Ratings are used to set advertising prices. Advertisers care about how many people or how many people in a key demographic are watching the show when it airs live on TV. It's just a statistical sample people use to make money from. As long as there is no chance of your show getting canceled, fans shouldn't care about it.

  3. We're likely going to get a lot of press talk of how this means the show is on the way out, but between it not ever being likely to match the premiere, and then the football game on last night, I'm not surprised.

  10. I don't think anyone can declare the show dead by any means with a rating like this. You could cut in half or even in a third and broadcasters would kill for something like that.
